Platter, Continental Kilns, Vintage 1950's. This lovely platter measures 13 1/2 by 11 . Continental Kilns was an Ohio River Valley Pottery company that manufactured dinnerware from 1944 to the mid 1950's. This yellow platter has a scalloped edge and is embossed all around its outer edge with beautiful pink flowers, on brown stems with green leaves. It would really stand out on one's table. To attest to its vintage look, it shows some signs of use and has four tiny under-the-glaze marks done by the manufacturer. There are no chips, cracks or crazing and it has the Continental Kilns Hand Painted mark.

These are 7 5/8 inch salad plates by the Rosenthal Continental China Co. The pattern is Colonial Rose. It has pink/beige roses and flowers. It was produced from 1961-64. In excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
