A large pitcher from the A.G. Richardson pottery with a hand painted decoration dating to about 1930. The body of the pitcher is an aged ivory with a stylized design of an open rose and cross-hatch on the rim. The pitcher Is in great condition with no chips, cracks or discoloration. Crown Ducal Ware deep dish vegetable serving bowl. Rectangular-shaped dish with oval center bowl, and undulating rim. This pretty pattern consists of fruit-filled comports, flowers and trailing vines, against a pale yellow background. The center bowl is white, and has a yellow inner band with dots and green outlining, which divides the band into rectangles and squares. The rim is hand painted in orange, and all fruit and flower centers are hand painted with a glossy enamel. Made in England. Manufactured by A.G. Richardson and Co. Circa: English Registry number 72944, indicating that this pattern was registered in 1927. Size: 2 inches deep; 8 7/8 inches long and 6 5/8 inches wide. Condition: Some scratches and fading to the orange paint on the rim.
