Vintage Napcoware headvase planter. She is 6.5 tall. Displays well, but has flaws which is why the price is low. Flaws: pearl earings are glued in and part of chain is missing on one; they should be hanging down. She has a hairline on top back rim. She has a smudgy spot on her lips. She has what appears to be some touchups, (green paint) around top rim, and a small chip on hat rim which is hard to spot unless you lay her down. Marked on bottom: C7474. Shown on pg. 48 of M. Zavada's book in the blue color. I see these sell for over $100 at auctions in far worse condition. She is fine for display in a china cabinet, or to use for a trailing ivy plant in a ladies room! 2/13estcs

Lovely vintage Napcoware head vase. From front display side she is near perfect. She stands 6 inches tall. Interior has some old mineral/rust residue apparently from once having a live plant in her, (these vases were commonly used for African Violet plants). She is clearly marked: Napcoware C 6428 and there is some crazing on the bottom. She also has a small faded spot on the side portion of upper head, see pic #5. This is not visible from the front. This is probably where the water inside the plant caused some fading on the brown hair glaze. That spot is also crazed but it is not a chip, crack or a repair.
