Herend

This is a very nice piece of Herend China. I could not find this particular piece in my research so I am not sure if it is a vase or cup of some sort. It is a very unusual piece. It has the rust Chinese bouquet design on the front and back with angels holding up the bowl. It is trimmed in gold on the top and bottom. It measures approximately 4 1/4 tall, 3 1/4 round at the top and the base measures 2 1/2 round. It is without chips or cracks and has minimal wear on the bottom. A beautiful and unusual piece!

This item is a wonderful antique Herend Plate made sometime around the 1890's. The Plate is about 10 and 1/4 inches across and has a lovely cobalt blue edge with gold gilt trim. The center of the Plate has a beautiful hand painted floral design which is surrounded by flowers, ladybugs, butterflies and beetles. The bottom of the Plate has both the incised and stamped Herend maker's mark. I have two of these Plates available for sale. Both Plates have the same basic decorations but with different flowers. One plate has a hand painted butterfly on the bottom, while the other Plate has two hand painted butterlies on the underside. The Plate with the lavendar center flower is the one with one butterfly on the bottom. Both Plates are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. This item is a set of 4 Herend coasters done in the Rothchild Bird pattern. There are two coasters done in motif B and Two done in motif A. the coasters are trimmed in 24K gold and are in excellent condition. Each coaster is 3 3/4 inches across and has the blue Herend Hungary mark on the bottom with an incised mark 341.

This item is abeautiful and majestic Herend vase in the Queen Victoria pattern. The vase sits on its own pedistal on a square base. It is decorated in a floral disign with butterflies. The vase is trimmed in 24K gold and has two handles. The vase is 10 3/4 inches high, 8 inches across at the handle and the base is 4 X 4 inches. The vase has the blue Herend Hungary mark on the bottom and is in excellent condition.

This is a fabulous vintage vase made by Fischer, Herend Hungary between 1932-1939. The ornate had painted vase of an unknown pattern measures 4.5 inches high by 4.5 inches wide by 3 inches deep. The beautiful oval pedestal porcelain vase features a floral bouquet design on the front and chintz floral rosettes on the back with fancy pierced side flanges or handles like leaves with heavy burnished gold trim. The vase is in excellent, mint condition with no chips, cracks or wear. Absolutely beautiful.

Since 1826, Herend has produced one of the most outstanding and distinctive porcelains in a small village near Budapest, Hungary. Each piece is handpainted by the Herend artists. This piece was obtained by me around 1979. Rothschild Bird (RO) by Herend is a handpainted bird, floral, insect design on porcelain. This lovely oval open work basket measures 8-1/4 long, 6-1/4 wide and stands 2-1/4 high. The center features the Rothschild Bird design with four butterflys and gold trims the openwork both inside and out. The slightly flaired scalloped edge on top is trimmed in gold as well as the base. The underside of base is marked in blue: Herend Handpainted Hungary #7403/RO. There are no chips or cracks - MINT!
