Limoges American

This is a 11 3/4 inch oval serving platter made by American Limoges. The pattern is Lyric which has a gold filigree rim and a center floral medallion. No chips or cracks, just some very light crazing.

Scallopped rim 'Silver Moon' salad plate, with lavender and pink flowers and platinum trim (pattern 4L133). Light crazing, otherwise in very good condition without discoloration or damage.

Triumph Soup Tureen Oslo Pink,Cream and pink bowl.In good condition,no chips or cracks,has normal age crazing. Sun dial cover has pastel flowers and light green leaves.Good used condition.Normal age crazing,has a very small nick.Over all this is a beautiful Tureen/Casserole.Pattern discontinued in 1941 Made in Sebring Ohio.

Triumph shape 'Oslo Pink' round covered vegetable dish, with pastel floral decoration. Piece has very light crazing and a few small dark spots on the rim from use (not visible when lid is in place), but is otherwise in very good condition.

These salad plates by Limoges-American are in very good condition. Pattern: TRILLIUM-WHITE Glamour, white flowers. Gold gilting around the edges do show some very slight gold lose. One Plate has the maker's mark but not the other 3. Size: 7 1/2 inches. Price is per plate.

This is the 12 platter in the Triumph shape with the Argonne pattern made by the Limoges China Company from the late 1930's through the late 1940's. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs and the floral decal of the Argonne design and the 22 K gold border trim are very good. There are a couple insignificant scratches from use and stacking and some minor crazing in the glaze. This platter is marked Triumph Made In U.S.A. Limoges Argonne Warranted 22 K. Gold on the bottom (see photos) and is 11 3/4 long and 9 3/8 wide.

It is in very good condition with no cracks or repairs and the paint of the Bermuda-T design and the yellow border is very good. There are a couple flakes on the underside edge (see photos) and some light scratches from use and stacking. This plate is marked Triumph Made In U.S.A. Limoges Bermuda-T on the bottom (see photos) and is 11 1/16 in diameter.

There is a flake on the rim (see photos) and some minor crazing in the glaze. This demitasse saucer is marked Limoges China Co. U.S.A. Sebring, Ohio Pat. June 12, 1928 Patent # 75525 on the bottom (see photos) and is 5 3/16 in diameter.

The glaze is a little uneven around the rim and there is a very small bump of extra pottery on the interior. This demitasse cup is not marked and is 1 7/8 high, 2 13/16 in diameter at the top and 3 9/16 across including the handle.

Antique American Limoges large platter. c:1886-1912. This is a pretty platter; it feels like ironstone, it is very heavy! Backstamped in green: O.C. Co. Limoges Porcelain. The mark stands for Ohio China Co., E. Palestine, Ohio, shown as mark 'm', pg. 18 in Kovels. No chips or cracks; does have visible crazing and some fine scratching, but not bad for a 95+ year old platter! It is 13.5 long x 10.75 wide. Some wear off gold on the rim also. Since it is already in gently used condition, you can use it! Put a pretty paper doily on it and serve cheese & crackers, h'orderves, etc. or give as a hostess gift with your favorite dish on it!

This is the 12 platter with the Old Dutch pattern made by the American Limoges China Company from the late 1940's through the mid 1950's. It is in good condition with no cracks or repairs and the Old Dutch tulip decals are very good with just a couple tiny defects. There are a couple scratches that are visible in the center decal, a small chip on the underside of one handle (see photos), another much smaller chip in another spot on the edge (neither of these are visible from the front) and some crazing in the glaze. This platter is marked American Limoges Made In U.S.A. Old Dutch on the bottom (see photos) and is 11 3/4 long and 9 5/16 wide.

Vintage American limoges platter. c.1936-1950. Nice semi-vitreous platter with backstamp: American Limoges Made in USA, La Marr K-s542, Warranted 22 K. Gold. No chips or cracks and is 13.75 long x 10.25 wide and is much prettier than the pics are showing it. Made by the Limoges China Co, Sebring, Ohio, in business from 1900-1955. Backstamp is shown in Kovels book of marks. Gently used condition, (some very minor scratching), but nothing major or distracting. The pattern might be: American Rose. You can serve your guests snacks or h'orderves at your next party! Or, put your favorite treat on it, wrap in cellophane, add a bow, and it's a fabulous hostess gift! The replacement value is $69.95.

9-3/4 . Has the gold American Limoges backstamp. Red-roofed house on the hill and a man with his horse and wagon at the foot of the hill, also the words Le Maitre. Gold trim is excellent. There is a tiny tick on the underside edge that is not noticeable unless the plate is turned upside down and even then you have to look carefully to see it, my price reflects this minor defect.
