Vintage Otagiri China Owl Coffee Mug Set, Set of Four Mugs. Such a cute set! There is an owl on each side of the mug, the owl is very nicely detailed, brown in color on a gray background. Otagiri China was founded in 1958 and produced items of this type in the 1970's, after the 1970's the style of what they produced changed and they were sold and absorbed by Enesco in the early 1990's. These mugs were produced from 1960 to 1970. Each mug is a standard coffee size, 3 3/4 inches tall and 3 inches across the mouth. All four mugs are in excellent condition, no chips, no stains, one has the original foil label attached, another one has a faded label, the other two do not have the labels. This set would be an outstanding addition to your collection or decor!
Mug, Otagiri, Brown and White Teddy Bear with red bow. This cute handpainted mug is 4 tall and 3 1/2 across. The teddy bear is beautifully embossed in dark brown and white on one one side, and his outline is incised on the other side of the mug. It is in very nice condition with the Otagiri Handpainted mark.
Otagiri Japan 1982 Ducks Geese Farm Trivet Wall Hanger
This hand crafted porcelain trivet is in very nice, clean condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. Measures 7 1/8 x 7 1/8 . Geese on a farm, one with red bow and the other a blue bow. Quilted pattern background.
Embossed Mug, Mama Cat, 1980's. This adorable mug is embossed with a mama cat holding a basket of flowers. She has a lovely bright pink scarf, a blue dress, and a white apron, all of which are beautifully embossed. The mug is in very good condition--no chips, cracks or crazing--and has the Otagiri impressed mark and a gold label.
Vase, Otagiri, Vintage 1980's, Cyclamen Bouquet. This pretty vase is 4 1/2 tall and 1 1/2 deep. It is ivory white with purple/pink flowers and gold trim. It is in excellent condition with the Cyclamen Otagiri Japan mark.
Coffee Mug, Zrike, Designed Exclusively for Peet's Coffee. This mug is 3 3/4 tall. The interior is yellow and the exterior is beautifully designed with colors of dark blue, light blue, yellow, orange and red. It would make a lovely gift. It is in very good condition with one minute under-the-glaze paint flek. It has the ZRIKE Designed Exclusively for Peet's Coffee mark.
Lidded Sugar Bowl, Otagiri, Gibson Greetings, Cow Barn with Cows. This lovely sugar bowl is 5 high and 3 1/2 wide. It is a blue cow barn beautifully embossed all around the sides with two cots, an old wheel, shuttered windows, and the front door which has a bowl of apples on the ground next to it. The dark brown roof is the lid. It is in very good condition--no chips, cracks, or crazing. It has the Otagiri Hand Crafted Japan label and is also incised with the Gibson Greetings mark.
Serenade Vase, Otagiri, Japan, 1980;s. This beautiful vintage vase measures 6 3/8 high and 2 1/4 wide. It is decorated all around with pink Hibiscus flowers on turquoise blue vines against a gray background. The top is gold trimmed. This vase is in excellent condition; no chips, cracks, or crazing. It is marked in gold -- Serenade Otagiri Japan .
This mug is in excellent, clean condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. Measures about 3 1/2 tall. Gold foil sticker on bottom marked Handcrafted Japan. Momma cat is 3D raised on the front of the mug. She is holding a basket and wearing a blue dress, white apron and pink shawl.
Vintage Pillow Vase, Shawnee U.S.A. #1012, Touche Pattern. This lovely vase is 5 tall, 7 long and 3 wide. It is called Pillow Vase on Pg. 164 in the Shawnee Pottery book by Jim and Bev Mangus. The Shawnee name was derived from the Shawnee Indian Tribe that lived in Zanesville, Ohio in the same area as the company. The Touche pattern was introduced in 1956, and this piece is called teaberry because it came with the pink interior. There are 18 pieces in this design line. This one is in really great condition with no chips, cracks, or other signs of use. It has the Shawnee U.S.A. 1012 mark impressed on the base.
Bud Vase, Otagiri, Cyclamen, Japan. This vase is 7 tall and the opening is 2 1/4 in diameter. It is octagonal and decorated with beautiful pink flowers, green leaves, all trimmed in gold. There is also a gold edge around the top. It is in excellent condition with the Otagiri Japan mark.
Otagiri Omc Japan 2 Mini Plates Red Orange Fruit Leaves
These 2 mini plates are in EXCELLENT, CLEAN, LIKE NEW condition with NO chips or cracks. They are about 5 1/4 wide. I am not sure if they are saucers, as I don't feel an indentation for a cup. They do NOT have their foil Otagiri labels.
Otagiri Omc Japan Candle Holders Red Orange Fruit Leave
These 2 candle holders are in EXCELLENT, CLEAN, LIKE NEW condition with NO chips or cracks. The bottom of the bases are about 5 1/2 wide and they will hold a candle up to 1 3/4 wide. They do NOT have their foil Otagiri labels.
Otagiri Omc Japan Serving Bowl Red Orange Fruit Leaves
This small serving bowl is in very nice, clean condition with NO cracks. It does have 2 VERY Tiny (1/8 ) knicks on the outside of the rim. See picture. The bowl measures about 6 1/4 wide and about 3 1/8 high. It does NOT have its foil Otagiri label.
Salt tall and almost 3 in diameter. There are two tiny little paint flecks on the pepper shaker and the stopper is loose. They are otherwise in good condition with Japan OMC labels and the Otagiri 1983 mark.
This cup and saucer set is in VERY NICE, CLEAN condition. It has no cracks or crazing. The cup does have a small 1/8 knick on the rim (SEE PICTURE). The cup is about 4 tall and the saucer is about 5 wide.
Otagiri Japan 1982 Ducks Geese Farm Utensil Holder Vase
This 6 tall utensil holder (or vase) is in very nice, clean, used condition with no chips or cracks. The underneath of the holder does have some light crazing and discoloration. The pattern is very bright and crisp and consists of geese on a farm with a barn in the background. The top opening measures about 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 . The bottom reads Otagiri 1982 Japan .
Duck Bowl, Otagiri, 1981. This lovely bowl is 8 high to the duck's head, 10 long and approximately 6 1/2 wide. The bowl is 4 high with the lid off. It is a very realistic duck done in light gray with yellow, dark green, blue and white, with yellow bill and yellow feet. The whole thing is beautiful. It is in excellent condition with the Otagiri mark and label on the bottom.
