Featured for your enjoyment is another wonderful item from Minnesota's Attic. This old covered sugar bowl is from W. H. Grindly of England. They manufactured earthenware. This is their Printemps pattern in pink. Mark dates from 1936-1954. Being marked simply England I am leaning towards the earlier date. The lad has a small repair which is not noticeable when on the bowl. There are several shallow small chips under the lid rim and nick in the bowl neck where it sits. No other damage noted. It has a lovely pink floral pattern with a flower finial for the lid lift. It stands 3 5/8 tall with lid by 6 1/8 wide.

There are a few very light scratches from use and stacking and some very minor wear in the rim trim. This lovely little teapot for 1 is marked under a crown: Gibsons Staffordshire England / A 758N1. I'm not sure if thats the exact numbers, it's very hard to read. Done in a beautiful array of dogwood and roses on an offwhite background with heavy gold banding around the rim, spout, on the handle and on top of the lid finial. In good plus condition it does have a manufacturers flaw in the rim and fine age crazing through out, which I have shown in my pictures and it measures 3 3/4 inches tall, 6 1/2 inches from spout to handle and 3 inches wide. An addition to any Teapot or Gibson's Staffordshire England Collection. SH & Ins. will be quoted after orders placed. If you have any questions feel free to contact me and thank you for looking.
