    Royal Vale Roses Tea Cup And Saucer
    Royal Vale bone china tea cup and saucer displaying a trio of vibrant colored roses and buds in deep red, pink and yellow with pink blush, set against deep green leaves. Set is enhanced with gold trim. Pattern number 8281; produced between 1964-1979. Made in England. A product of Ridgway Potteries. Cup: 3 inches tall; 3 1/2 inches wide. Saucer: 5 5/8 inches. Condition: Cup is in very good condition. Saucer has a chip on underside at the edge of rim, (see photo 6) along with a 1 3/8 inch thin crack. Crack does go through to the other side, but it is very light and thin. Set has been priced accordingly.

    Ridgways Brown Transferware Grecian Cabinet Plate Antique
    True Antique Ridgways Plate in remarkable condition, stunning, with shiny finish, no discoloration, minor crazing, has been well cared for. Tiny nick in the 11 o'clock position as shown in the photo. Check out the mark on the back. We found this mark, date and description in a Kovels Book. The plate also has an impressed mark and a blue letter underglaze. History RIDGWAY WARE: Job Ridgway, the founder, one of Wedgwood's apprentices, started in business in 1794 at Shelton, Staffordshire, and in 1802 built the works known as Cauldon Place. Later, the businesses of several others of the Staffordshire potters were combined with this factory. Ridgway made a good grade of earthenware similar in many respects to ironstone china, and also made porcelain of excellent quality.

    This approx 4 tall by 8 1/4 D(from handle to handle) covered butter dish is in very good condition save for some crazing. Price reflects this. It is decorated with blue-green flowers and leaves with blue-green scrolls for the border. Made by Ridgway. Mark: Ridgway England Royal Semi Porcelain.
