This outstanding Flora Danica ice basin was crafted by Royal Copenhagen Porcelain, in what is regarded as one of the most prestigious and stunning porcelain patterns ever created. One of the rarest shapes created by Royal Copenhagen, the ice basin, or monteith, is beautifully decorated on all surfaces in a highly detailed, hand-painted botanical motif, and features the signature, scalloped rim for which these beautiful items are known. The basin is marked Royal Copenhagen, Denmark, and is inscribed with the Latin names of each flower shown on the underside of the bowl. The floral in the basin is Pyrola Rotundifolia. It measures thirteen inches in length and is in excellent condition.
Royal Copenhagen, Fluted Blue Full Lace, chocolate jug. Numbered #1026. The Fluted Lace pattern has been made by Royal Copenhagen since 1775. It is fluted white china with blue floral, blue lines and pierced lace edges. This chocolate jug measures 11 nine inches tall. In excellent condition, no cracks or chips.
Vintage Mothers Day (Mors Dag) Hanging Plate, Royal Copenhagen, 1978. This Danish Mother's Day plate is 6 1/8 in diameter. It is white and blue. It depicts a mother and child, sitting outside amid some flowers, looking at each other with love in their eyes. Mors Dag 1978 is printed on the dark blue front part of the plate. There are two holes in the back for hanging or it could be used as a table decoration. It is in excellent condition with the Royal Copenhagen Denmark Mother's Day mark on the back.
