Royal Standard

This is a mid century chintz pattern teacup trio consisting of a cup and saucer with matching plate made by Royal Standard, England 1950s. The bone china cup is 2.75 inches high, the saucer is 5.75 in diameter and the plate is 6.75 in diameter. The chintz pattern is called Sweet Pea Chintz for obvious reasons, and is a riot of pink and lavender shades of sweet peas with green foliage and gold trim on white. The set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or gold wear. A gorgeous set!

This is a mid century bone china cream and sugar made by Royal Standard, England in the 1950s with a pretty pattern called English Rose. The design is a deep red rose jand colored on sepia transfer with gold trim. The cream, creamer or pitcher is 3 inches high and the sugar bowl or sugar basin is 2.5 inches high by 3.5 inches in diameter. Both pieces are in excellent condition and actually look to have never been used.

This is a lovely cup and saucer made by Royal Standard, England 1946-1950s in the patter called Red Velvet number 3114. The cup and saucer features a corset pedestal shape with deep red or burgundy roses and gold trim. The foot of the cup and a band on the saucer is a pale blue grey which is a nice contrast. The cup and saucer is in excellent, mint condition with no chips, cracks or wear. A gorgeous way to sip your tea or coffee.

This is a Royal Standard 8 salad plate. It has an eggshell body with blue violets and gold trim. It is in excellent condition.

This is a retro mid century English bone china teapot made by Royal Standard, England in the 1950-1960s with a pattern of pink, black and grey lines with gold trim. The teapot measures 5.5 inches high by 11 inches long by 7 in diameter and is in excellent, mint condition with no chips, cracks or wear and looks as if it has never been used. Cool!

This is an antique imari pattern teacup trio consisting of a cup and saucer with matching plate made by Royal Standard, England 1916-1930. The cup is 3 inches high, the saucer is 5.5 in diameter and the plate is 6.25 in diameter. The imari pattern was popularized in the victorian period by the discovery and popularity of the Japanese china from the Imari region that featured bright cobalt blue, red and green. This cup, saucer and plate has all of those colors and features rosebuds, fans and hearts with a sepia transferware design that has been hand colored and hand applied gold trim and accents. The set is in very good +++ condition with no chips or cracks and only minor gold wear. A gorgeous set!
