Vintage Staffordshire yellow bud vase. Triple fence and tree bud vase. This vase is not marked but an identical one that had a stamp mark was shown on another website. Made by Empire Works, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire England around 1934. The stamp mark must have worn off this one or they forgot to stamp it. This vase is 5.25 tall x 7.5 wide. Some crazing and a hairline on bottom that circles the bottom horizontal fencing and has a tiny fleaite near the hairline. A rather neat item despite the flaw. You can seal that with superglue to prevent any further damage. You could display it with vintage flower frogs in a mini-terrarium; put some silk flowers in it, e.g., trailing ivy.
Staffordshire Ironstone jardinaire and pedestal. This item features transferware colonial ladies and gents. (sorry, the pics did not come out that well; it is very pretty!). I like to use double sided tape just to secure the jard to the pedestal in case you bump it, it won't fall off.

Gorgeous Staffordshire covered dish. This gorgeous white cheesekeeper, or small covered torte cake dish, has a black underglaze mark that says: A Taunton Vale Company, with a fox like animal in the middle, a banner with the word Howard in it underneath the animal, and under that it reads: Staffordshire England. The mark looks quite old, but I do not know when this particular item was made. This beautiful dish is in very good condition, just all-over very faint crazing that you need readers on to see. Taunton Vale started in business in 1886 and took over Royal Winton. I believe Taunton Vale is still in business, however, as I said, the mark looks quite old on this item. The plate itself is 9.5 wide, the cover is about 7.5 wide, and it is about 6.5 inches high, and the lid has a vent hole. This would go great with country, traditional and even contemporary decor.
