Vintage Sterling Creamer. The Creamer is Marked: Sterling China, Vitrified China, East Liverpool, Ohio, G-4(Date Code-Oct. thru Dec. 1968). The Creamer has a Mustard Yellow Stripe around rim and on the Handle. Couple Dark Marks on the Top of the Handle(as seen in Photos). It features an UNKNOWN TRANSFER DECO PRINT PATTERN that we can best describe as being a cameo with a torch in the center decorated with a ribbon on the top in the color green. It is not marked by the manufacturer. The CONDITION is ESTATE / USED. The glaze is shiny and the print is dark. It shows light signs of use.

The decoration is around the rim. The early STERLING BACKSTAMP is in GREEN under the glaze on the bottom. The CONDITION is ESTATE / USED. The glaze is shiny and the color is dark. It shows signs of light useage and wear.

This RESTAURANT WARE CREAMER is marked with the STERLING CHINA COMPANY / LAMBERTON mark that was used during the 1950s - 1980s. It features the letters M B LOGO or MONOGRAM. The CONDITION is ESTATE / USED. The glaze is shiny and the LOGO is dark. It shows signs of light usage & wear.

This RESTAURANT WARE CREAM PITCHER was made by the STERLING CHINA COMPANY during the late 1970s - 1980s. It features a PRIMARY OFF-WHITE BACKGROUND and has a FLORAL/SCROLL PATTERN along with a STAR in a CIRCLE in the COLOR BROWN. It is reminiscent of the PENNSYLVANIA DUTCH PATTERNS. The CONDITION is VERY GOOD. The glaze is shiney and the color is dark. It shows signs of light useage & wear. The STERLING CHINA STAMPED MARK is in BLACK under the glaze on the bottom. THE CUSTOMER PRICE is for ONE CREAM PITCHER.

Attractive vintage china porcelain bird plate with center decor of a California Quail (name appears under picture of bird). Multi-color transfer bird picture on white center with nice wide pink outer edging and gold circular inner edging. As labelled on backside, made by 'Sterling China, Designed by Carl Otto, Made in U.S.A.', it also states 'Decorated by Barnhart Pottery, Chester, W. Va.' (West Virginia). This round antique plate measures about 7 3/4 inches in diameter and sits 3/4 inch in height. Terrific condition, no chips, cracks, crazing. There is some expected age wear on the plate in terms of some wear to the gold trim and some surface scratching or pitting (but these last are only visible when looked at very closely in bright light), nothing bad. There is also a tiny white dot on the pink border, we think this is a bit of white paint on the plate (from someone painting a room in their home around it?!). There are a couple of minor marks or colored marks on the backside of the plate, and expected wear on the bottom edge on which the plate sits. While this is a listing of a single plate, we actually have a companion or matching plate in this series. The others listed separately is of the game bird Mountain Quail. Singer, or the famous bird artist, Arthur Singer. Incorporated into the bird picture on the front of each plate is a small signature, which looks to be A. Singer (this signature is clearly visible or readable on the Pheasant plate; on each of the other plates you can see a similar signature or letters are there but they are not readable on these plates). We believe this indicates that A. Singer did the actual bird art, but Carl Otto incorporated it into an overall design for the plates. A wonderful addition to any collection of bird plates or quail pieces, or a nice gift for any bird lover.
