Dinner Plate, Stetson, Made in U.S.A., 22K gold trim. This plate measures 10 across. It has a 1/4 gold trimmed edge with beautiful pink, blue, lavender, yellow and orange flowers in the center surrounded by another ring of gold flowers. The Stetson Co. was started in 1946 when Joseph W. Stetson, a dinnerware designer, moved from Chicago to Lincoln, Illinois to take over the Illinois China Co., that had been operating in Lincoln since 1919. By 1955 Mr. Stetson claimed to be the largest manufacturer of individual hand-painted ceramic dinnerware in the U.S. Stetson China closed in 1965. These two plates are in very nice condition showing very minor signs of use. One has slight crazing and two small manufacturer's under-the-glaze discolorations on the edge. They have the Stetson Warranted 22K Gold Made in U.S.A. mark on the back.
Vintage Lidded Porcelain Sugar Bowl and Creamer, Stetson, Made in U.S.A. This set is very rare. The sugar bowl measures 6 1/2 across from handle to handle, and is 4 1/2 high. The creamer is 3 1/4 high and 5 1/4 across. The set is very elegant with its gold trim and scalloped edges. The Stetson Co. was started in 1946 when Joseph W. This lovely plate was hand painted by the Stetson China Co. which was located in Lincoln, Ill from 1946-1966. Their dinnerware was often confused with Blue Ridge and both companies often did not mark their china. This plate is in very good condition. There is one little flaw in the glaze, otherwise there are no chips and cracks. This is a dainty little plate to add to your collection.

Dessert Bowl, Stetson, Colonial Couple, Vintage, 22K Gold Trimmed, Made in the U.S.A. The bowl measures 6 across. It is heavily trimmed around the edge with 22K gold. In the center of the bowl is a picture of the colonial couple. There are 6 of these bowls and they are in very good condition. There is only slight wearing of the gold on two of them. They are marked Stetson Warranted 22K Gold (see last photo).
This creamer by Stetson China Company is in excellent condition with crazing and measures 5 3/4 tall. The pitcher is marked with a raised Made In USA and is very similar in style to Blue Ridge.

This is a wonderful piece of Stetson hand painted china. It is a 10 1/2 inch plate with 3 leaves and a painted background. The back of the plate says copyright 1955.
