This is a stunning Art Deco 12K white gold filled 3 piece ladies Elgin watch in the cut corner style. The case features intricate art deco engravings on the step designed bezel with more deco engravings running down the sides of the mid section. The case is all 14k white gold filled and shows little wear which is a testament to the quality of this time piece. The original signed Elgin dial with its oval glass crystal is stunning with fancy black minute track in the centre and original blued steel Deco hands. The Art Deco bracelet style band with its adjustable fold over slider clasp is marked 1-20-12K. The alternating rectangular and round links also have deco engraving. CONDITION: watch is not running and has been in storage since the mid 1930s; fine scratches to glass crystal; watch face appears to be in excellent condition with no loss to design or numbers; fine scratches to back of case NOTE: as I do not have the tools, this watch has not been opened. Late 19th/early 20th century universal watch key - it will expand or contract to fit most fob watches by pressing the button on one end. Loop for hanging on a gentleman's fob chain. Measures 45 mm wide and 5 mm diameter (1.3/4 inches by 3/16 inch). The case is made of brass or maybe gilded brass - this has a few very tiny spots of verdigris on it, otherwise very good condition.

Really good German-made Ducado 1960-70s gent's wristwatch. Gold plated case, 17 jewel manual wind movement. It has a sweep second hand, and an additional red hand for 24 hour system use. Stainless steel back. Watch face measures 36 mm diameter (just under 1.1/2 inches). Unworn, excellent working order.

Offered is Wittnauer Black Dial Wristwatch. Watch is from the 1950's. I've had it running for about a half day and it appears to be keeping pretty accurate time. Not certain if those are diamond chips around the dial but I'm sure those of you who collect or deal in these Vintage Watches would know for certain. Watch overall appears to be in very good/clean condition. No notice of any significant scratching to the clear face. It's backing is fairly clean as well. It is marked on the edge with a star and says 10K Gold Filled. Back of the band says Speidel Stainless Steel China. Band could have been replaced at one time, I don't know, but it is a nice band none the less. Buyer to pay $7.50 for shipping & insurance within the U.S.

The dials, hands and ornamentation have also varied steadily over the last century. Called the anniversary clock because it needed winding only once a year, it has carried on into the days of no winding at all.

Tiny chip in corner of middle plaque but it is the same on both sides so it doesn't have to show. Anyway, you can only see it upon very close inspection. Gold wash on setting shows some wear. Link are antique brass.

Art Deco mantle clock, stepped side and manual wind movement. The wood is New Zealand rewarewa, and it is inlaid with a mosaic of squares of NZ paua shell, which has a varnish finish crackled a little with age giving its own unique pattern. Lovely glittery effect from the iridescent shell. Very deco face and hands. Hasn't been overhauled, so can't guarantee the movement, but it ticks away happily and keeps good time. Yes, I would rate the fob and all the hardware as excellent antique condition. Can't say the same for the black silk that holds it - that is worn and frayed on the crossbar that hangs below the swivel. The sturdy swivel is marked on the inside as B.F.S.& Co. The fob would make a wonderful pendant if you can't replace the silk.

Very nice late Victorian black slate and green marble mantel clock. Made by the British United Clock Co Ltd, Birmingham, England. It has the pretty enamel face that all B.U.C. clocks seem to have, with gilded metal outer ring. The slate has an engraved flower design to the corners of the case, with green marble side pillar detailing. Hinged door to rear. Clock measures 28.5 cm high, 22.5 cm wide and 13.3 cm deep (11.1/4 inches by 9 inches by 5.1/2 inches). It has a few areas of damage to the case: there is a chip diagonally across the rear top right-hand corner, and a shallow chip to the top edge of the same side. Also a chip to the underneath foot edge rear of side. Have not had this clock overhauled but it appears to be working well, and has ticked away all week. It's an 8 day movement. However, it needs regulating as it runs slow and the chime is out of sequence. It chimes the hour and the half hour. All together, a very good clock. Comes with pendulum and key. Very heavy, probably not a good one to ship overseas.

Handbag/Purse decorated with Coins. Top portion of the Bag, its Clasp and the bottom of the Bag are made of what I believe is referred to as Lucite. Coins on the Purse are not real Coins and are more or less for decorative purposes. The Bag appears to be n very good condition. Measures close to 9 in. length and about 5 ½ in. high. Isn't this cute? Highly decorative on both sides, it's hinged and opens to displace tiny pictures - or hair? The celluloid cover is still in one side. Measures 3/4 inches square and about 3/8 thick. Very good antique condition.

Here's a history lesson for you! 3 3/4 x 3 1/4 inches are the measurements for this souvenir cigarette case which most certainly was purchased by a soldier in the post war period when Germany was divided up by Russian, France, Great Britain and the US. No more Iron Curtain makes this a relic and very collectible. Black finish is hard like enamel and map is brass. Some wear on edges where it was held.
