Sword Handle Parts. Tsuka Part For Japanese Wwii Gunto
This old Japanese Tsuka is split and missing everything except the ray skin applied to the sides. All the wood pieces are present so this would make a good start for a restoration. 9.5 inches long. 1 3/8 x 13/16 wide at front.
This is a wonderful example of a Japanese late War type of Tsuka from a Army Officer's Shin Gunto sword. This is a great piece for someone looking to restore or repair a damaged original or rebuild for a sword that is missing its handle. 9 3/8 inches long, 1 1/4 x 3/4 at front
Here is an early WWII Japanese Tsuka, or sword handle that needs some work, but still has a lot of potential. This tsuka is from a Japanese Army Shin Gunto Sword and although it is cracked, the wood is all there and could be restored with some TLC. Nice white Shark skin is still tight and in good condition. Length is 10 3/16 inches. Width at front 1 1/4 x 5/8
A very nice antique Japanese Samurai sword tsuba or (hand guard) dating from the late 17 to early 1800s. Forged in iron this tsuba has a very simply scroll design around the outside edge and it measures 2 7/8 inches in diameter. The tsuba is hammered at slight a taper with the thinnest portion being near the edge. Excellent ring denoting a good temper. I guarantee this fully to be an authentic original antique tsuba.
