Enesco Cookie Guard Cookie Jar Bull Dog Fire Hydrant First Made. This is awesome and done in a cold painted finish. This is a harder to find jar. Has a neat chain attaching lid to bottom of jar. A must have. Marked Enesco on bottom and also has a Imported Japan Enesco paper label. Best guess made during the 1970s.

FYI Cold paint is applied over the paint and glaze and washed off easily. It should only be washed with water and soft cloth and gently wiped to clean. Soap and cleaners removes the paint.

This jar has mild cold paint wear as seen. No chips, no cracks and no crazing.
