Fenton began producing Ruby Overlay in 1942 and continued through 1948. Ruby overlay is a cased glass design with gold Ruby as the interior layer and crystal on the outside. During that period this #1353 Ruby Overlay Diamond Optic Water Pitcher was produced. The 70 oz ‘Jug’ pitcher stands 9" tall with an outward ruffled top. It is in very good condition no chips, cracks or discoloration. Minimal usage marks can be seen but nothing that will take away from this beautiful pitcher! A must for every Fenton collector!
