Antique Chinese soapstone vase with intricately carved leaves and berries with a few animals hidden amongst them. The naturally mottled soapstone has a nice blend of colors (brown, beige, rust and black). The vase is attached to a brown soapstone base and the condition is very good, except for the tips of a few leaves, which have been damaged. This vase is usnusual both in color and the type of carving on it. Height: 8½".
