This is a nice Rococo Style Bed made from solid and nicely patinaed walnut by the end of the 19th century consisting of a large headboard mounted by an intricately sculpted acanthus shaped cartouche connect to the splendid footboard by a pair of nicely scrolled side rails. Note the stunning embellishment decorating the footboard combining floral and acanthus patterns for an appealing look. Minor scratches and dents can be seen here and there due to the age. This is a rare and very decorative Italian Bed, typical from the Art Deco period during the 1930's, boasting a stunning mahogany veneer highlighted by an intricately sculpted central panel depicting cherubs with acanthus and floral patterns. The interesting part comes from the fact this bed can be converted into a pair of twin beds. Note several minor scratches and dents that can be seen here and there due to the age. Circa date 1930. This piece consists of a double arched headboard centering an intricately cast bronze ormolus depicting Bacchus upon the central stretcher highlighted with inlaid floral and acanthus patterns and mother of pearl incrustations connected to the matching footboard by straight rails, all standing on turned legs. Note minor scratches here and there due to the age. This bed can fit a double-size mattress. Circa date 1930.
