This original postcard is from the 1933 Century Of Progress (Chicago World's Fair) which was held in Chicago. It is in good condition but the back of the postcard has some major stains and the front features the "General Exhibits Group". The reverse side features a postcard format, which is unused and the paragraph states "In this group of five pavilions with its terraces, courts opening toward the lagoons, and its pools, the visitors see portrayed the vivid stories of the graphic arts, furniture, office equipment, jewelry, cosmetics, sporting & leather goods, the textile & mineral industries & industrial engineering. Comb-shaped in plan, the pavilions, 110 feet in width, are separated by courts 120 feet across" and measures approx. 5 1/2" x 3 1/2"
