Vintage Orrefors Blue Mayflower Petal Bowl Signed Numbered Label
Vintage Orrefors Blue Mayflower Petal Bowl, this piece is Signed, Numbered and has the original Label. It is absolutely stunning! This pattern is part of the petal giftware line and was made in 1994. The sides of the bowl are molded into a petal shape, the bottom is ground, original paper label is attached and the bottom is signed Orrefors and numbered. It is 5 1/2 inches tall and about 6 3/4 inches across the top of the bowl, it is a very heavy piece and is in excellent condition. This offering is for a pair of crystal clear taper candle holders from Orrefors. They are marked Orrefors. One has the remnant of the Orrefors red sticker with the white Orre bird without the wreath that was introduced in the 1960's. They have a height of 1 7/8 with a diameter of 4 3/8 . These art glass candle holders each weigh over 2 lbs each. They both are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. There does exist the expected superficial scratches on the bottom from shelf wear through the years. We believe they may have been a part of a console set with the related bowl being a Sven Palmqvist design. View the last photo for a display of both the bowl and candle holders. Orrefors Free Form Sven Palmqvist Crystal Bowl Mcm
We are pleased to offer a crystal clear free form bowl from Orrefors. It is marked on the bottom Orrefors PU 2667. This would indicate that Sven Palmqvist was the designer of this uncut smooth glass bowl. He was employed by Orrefors from 1928-72. This massive bowl has a diameter of 11 1/4 , a height of 2 1/2 , and a weight of over 8 pounds! It remains in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. There does exist the expected superficial scratches on the bottom from shelf wear through the years. We believe this may have been a part of a console or table set as we are also selling candle holders that we believe are a match to them. Both this bowl and the holders are shown in the last photo although they are being sold separately. Boxed weight is 9-10 lbs.
Vintage FM Konstglas Swedish Art Glass Fish. This beautiful art glass fish is by FM Konstglas. FM Konstglas was an art glass producer that operated in Ronneby Sweden by the Marcolin brothers. The brothers were originally glass makers in Murano Italy and successfully combined the classic techniques from Italy with the Scandinavian modern design.. Ronneby was a small, independent glassworks founded by Josef and Benito Marcolin in 1961, they ceased production in 1990, this is one of the earlier pieces as it does not have a style number like on the bottom like the later pieces. This stunning piece of vintage Scandinavian art glass was produced in Ronneby Sweden, it is in the shape of an apple, clear with a gold aventurine controlled bubble center and is signed on the base FM Ronneby Sweden. It is 3 1/2 tall and about 4 in diameter. Signed on the bottom with FM Ronneby Sweden. It is in excellent condition, no chips but has some light scratches on the base from being slid across a desk. This pattern was made from 1989 to 2000, it is part of a giftware line that was designed by Jan Johansson. It features a ray like pattern, is 7 inches tall and 8 1/2 inches across, it has the original label attached and is signed on the bottom. It is in excellent condition, an extremely heavy piece that is almost twelve pounds in weight. It would be a stunning addition to your collection or to give as a gift.
