Brilliant Cut and Crystal

A vintage decanter, bearing the Cocktail transfer print of a rooster , with the enamelled label French Vermouth in a red, white and blue shield. Decanter is 28cm (11 inches) high, and 10.25cm diameter at its widest part (4 inches). Excellent condition, but needs a minor clean inside. 1950s-60s.

This is a bar shaped pressed crystal knife rest that may be made by Val St Lambert, Belgium. It has been engraved with the name Val, but the script is different from what is usually seen so I am not sure. The knife rest is in perfect condition and measures .5 inch high by 3.25 inches long by 1 inch wide and has beveled and scalloped sides and an impressed sunflower bottom. It is a lovely piece for any table.

A vintage crystal double salt, salter. Open style. Measures 4 x 3 in. and is 1.25 in. tall. Bottom marked with a D in a diamond that I believe stands for the Dugan Glass Co. I find no damage. A superb addition to your open salt collection.

This gorgeous wheel cut crystal flower and leaf pattern bowl is from circa 1910. This piece was cut on a very heavy blank with the top half of the bowl done in a cut cane pattern of alternating pointed nailhead diamonds and hobnail motifs while the bottom half of the bowl has 4 wheel cut flowers with leaves and another flower in the center of the bottom. The remaining cuts are deep and very well defined, making it sparkle in any light. In good condition, it does have 1 chip in the rim that is noticable, which I have shown in my pictures, a common problem with pieces from this era from hitting the kitchen faucets, and some smaller rim nicks. When tapped, it has a very high pitched, long ring to it and measures 4 3/4 inches high, and 10 inches in diameter. An addition to any American Brilliant Cut Crystal Bowl Collection. A small bowl or votive candleholder that measures 4.5 in. diameter and stands 2.75 in. tall. In like new condition with the Studio Nova sticker still attached. Lovely fluted or ruffled top edge. Attractive to use and display.

Very elegant Cut Crystal wine glass. Tall stem is hexagon shape with horizontal cuts that gives it a chunky cubed appearance. Polished pontil on the bottom. This hand cut Czech Republic 24% lead crystal bottle with stopper is in great condition. It measures 4 1/4 inches tall with the stopper and 2 3/4 inches with out the stopper and it is about 2 inches wide. The paper labels are still attached. There are minut flea bites on the stopper, otherwise, it is in perfect shape.

This Heisey cut glass surag (?) bowl measures 1 3/4 inches tall by 2 3/4 inches across at the inside rim. It features the diamon H imprint on the middle inside. There is a slight chip on the outside rim bottom about 14 inch by 5/8 inches. Priced accordingly.

There is a small chip around the rim. These imperfections are very hard to see, but none the less still there. Price reflects this. The pitcher is clear with a cut box and dot design for the pattern.
