1920s Tiffin Amberina Satin Glass Fruit Or Console Bowl, 2 Available
I have two of these elegant Tiffin satin glass bowls from the 1920s. At first glance they are tangerine orange, but the color shades to gold at the bases, forming amberina. One is a little darker than the other with more gold at the bottom (pictures 1 and 2). The other is a lighter shade of tangerine with a gold ring halo at the bottom (pictures 3 and 4). The bowls are 9-1/2 inches diameter by 3-1/4 deep. Each has a few tiny silver rub wear marks inside, nothing very noticeable. No chips, flakes, or damage. Price is per bowl, please specify light or dark if you have a color choice.

Tiffin Us Glass Crystal Whip Cream Bowl Compote With Flower Cutting
This style of rolled edge comport was often called a whip cream bowl by the manufacturer, US Glass Company and produced at the Tiffin Factory R plant. It's larger than most whipped cream compotes though, at nearly 8 diameter at the rim by 4-3/4 high. The wheel-cut floral etch was probably done by Lotus, a Depression era glass decorator who bought blanks from most of the glass companies of the time. The design is virtually identical to their Marie decoration, except the example I found has a few additional leaves on the stem where this one has only six. The comport is in crystal clear, excellent condition. There is one pinprick scratch or fleabite on the rim, and a tiny ping on the inside of the bowl which is basically a round, shallow scratch, not a chip or flake (possibly caused by a bubble at the surface of the glass). There are a few tiny, short scratches here and there which are common to glass of this age and aren't easily seen except under magnification.
This is an exquisite console set produced by Tiffin Glass Company in the 1930's. This set consists of two 2-lite candlesticks and a centerpiece console bowl. They are listed as candlestick 5, 2-Lite, Ball Center at a price of $80 each. I do not know the pattern name for these 3 pieces but they apparently used the same blanks as the Fuchsia Pattern. If you know the name of this pattern please let us know.
