This Dotted Swiss on Willow Green Satin Basket 3131 GB was part of Fenton's 2002 General Catalog. This Spiral Optic Basket of Willow Green has been sanded to a soft sheen finish for a crisp new look. Then artist Robin Spindler created a cheerful design of graceful spring petals drifting on a sea of dotted swiss to complete the fresh look. Measuring 8 tall with a twisted rope handle it is in excellent condition with no chip or cracks. The trusted Fenton logo can be found on the bottom with a 0 signifying the decade it was made in along with the signature of the talented artist who painted it. This Coral Floral on Lotus Mist Burmese Basket 2735 QU was offered by Fenton during the First Final Release in 2011. This release was after they announced they would cease production and they were using blanks that were left at the factory and creating pieces to clean out old stock. This Lotus Mist Burmese, or Green Burmese, Basket stands 8 1/4 tall featuring a coral shaded flower and leaves. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and the bottom is signed by the talented artist who painted it! The bottom also has original signatures by George & Nancy Fenton. Original in that they were signed by the Fenton's with the electric pen they use at Fenton Family signing events, this one done at my own shop in October of 2011! It is hard to see the signatures as it is etched on this satin finish but turn it to the light and you'll find them! What a beautiful addition to your Fenton collection!

This beautiful Daisy Butterfly on Lotus Mist Burmese Basket 6531 ES was offered as a Limited Edition in Fenton's Late Spring 2001 Catalog. Lotus Mist, or green, Burmese was first introduced by Fenton in 2000 so this Basket was part of the second installment offered of this unique colored Burmese glass! Designed by Kim Plauche this 10 1/4 tall basket features pastel daisies and an uplifting butterfly with a ruffled edge and ribbed handle. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, no ware and the pattern intact. The bottom has the Fenton scripted F painted on it along with the signature of the artist who painted it and is numbered 919/2750. This Iridescent Willow Green Opalescent Diamond Optic Melon Vase CV343 ZW was produced by Fenton for QVC for their January 2001 show. Measuring approximately 8 1/4 at the tallest crimp this beautiful Diamond Optic Vase features handpainted violets with a glass frit around the base and middle section in white and violet and the triple crimped edge is touched off with a violet crest. Dating back to 1908 Fenton originated the first Carnival Glass in an attempt to capture the beauty of the expensive Tiffany Favrile and Steuben Aurene at popular prices. Needless to say the American public fell in love with this splashy new glassware and that love continues today! This rich Spruce Green Carnival Melon Vase stands 6 tall and has a double crimped edging and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, no discoloration and the pattern is intact! This French Opalescent Roses Vase 9252 R5 was introduced in Fenton's Romance Collection 1999 and continued for several years. This 6 1/2 vase is pearlized glass and soft, textured roses in the mould enhanced with white painted roses with baby's breath. The Romance Collection was advertised as the essence of relaxed sophistication. Perfect for wedding and anniversary gifts each piece came with a Romance Collection card! Unfortunately that card has long since left but the vase has stood the test of time and is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and the pattern is intact! The bottom is signed by the artist who painted it and the Fenton 95th Anniversary sticker is still on the vase letting me know this was sold in 2000!

Listed here is a pearlized pink powder box (or candy dish) by Fenton. The powder jar is in the shape of a pink rose and the lid has a beautiful little butterfly sitting on top. Nobody does baskets like Fenton and one of the greatest challenges for their skilled basket handlers is the creation of a Fenton Mini Basket. These baskets range in height from 3 ¾ to a little over 5 and have the signature handler's mark on each side of the handle. Here is a perfect example with this Robin's Egg Blue 5 ¼ Mini Basket. Fenton made this from the old Cape Cod mould by Imperial Glass and offered it with their First Final Offering. These are the last items coming out of the Fenton factory! Such a sad thought but your last opportunity to acquire historic items! Did you know. . . It takes the same amount of teamwork and skill on the part of Fenton's glassworkers to create a mini basket as it does to make a larger one. Some handlers have even said it is more challenging because their hands are so large in comparison to the basket they are handling!
