Fenton Emerald Crest 8 In. Dc Vase
Apparently a popular line that sold well, Emerald Crest was produced for only 4 years (1949-1953). The offered pieces were manufactured (1950-51) within that time frame. Emerald crest is a more elusive of the crests. One of the vases has a partial paper label on the bottom with the inscription - Dalton's Baton Rouge, La. Since the vases were acquired in that city, is seems likely the store where at least one of the vases were originally purchased. Just a little conjecture that most collectors like to engage. Both pieces are mint. Each vase comes in an appropriately-sized Fenton box, although not the original shipping box, The vases are sold individually: however, I will combine them into 1 order for the same address. Thanks for your consideration.

Fenton Blue Opalescent Mini Vase #37 - Oval Top
According to Walk (2001. Fenton Glass Compendium. page 165.), this single crimped, oval-top mini vase with a side crimp was produced from 1942 to 1944. It seems the whole series of these vases were produced from similar body moulds, with the crimp, finish and/or handle added to provide the desired finished piece. Having never seen the vase in a collection or for sale, and with a two year production span, they may really be hard to find. The approximate dimensions of the vase are: 1 3/4 in. high, 2 3/16 X 1 1/2 in. outside edge to outside edge of rim )at the wide and narrow opening, respectively) with a foot diameter 1 1/4 in. The book price seems a little steep, so let's cut the low price in half. There is no damage to the glass.

Fenton Blue Opalescent Mini Vase #37-round Top
According to Walk (2001. Fenton Glass Compendium. page 165.), this single crimped, round-top mini vase was produced from 1942 to 1944. It seems the whole series of these vases were produced from similar body moulds, with the crimp, finish and/or handle added to provide the desired finished piece. Having never seen the vase in a collection or for sale, and with a two year production span, they may really be hard to find. The approximate dimensions of the vase are: 1 3/4 in. high, 2 in. outside edge to outside edge of rim with a foot diameter 1 5/16 in. The book price seems a little steep, so let's cut the low price in half. There is no damage to the glass and it seems there is a little carnival highlight around the inside of the rim. Could this be a piece of more-recent production in blue opalescent carnival glass? I don't know.

Fenton Apple Blossom 4 Piece Epergne
The apple blossom crest line was introduced in 1960 and this epergne was produced from introduction until June 1961. The line consisted of 12 items with bodies of milk glass with an opaline crest of light pink to deeper reds. Please see photos for a close-up of the color variations in the crest: variations tend go around in a circumferential manner with the crest. In addition to scarcity and range of colors, the epergne is large and makes a center point for display. The foot of one horn has a flake of metal removed: however, the flaked area does not show when the horn is in the base. This is clearly shown in an accompanying photo. Other than this flake, the piece has no damage: purely in mint condition. This is an opportunity to obtain an impressive piece of a short-lived Fenton pattern. One may ask when one last saw a piece of apple blossom crest offered, let alone such a substantial piece. Please use the Ask a Question button for further information. The epergne will be very well packed, shipped double-boxed and insured. Thanks for your consideration.

Fenton Cranberry Hobnail 70 Oz Jug And Tumbler Set
The set is five pieces consisting of the 70 oz. no ice lip jug and 4 barrel-shaped, 12 oz. tumblers. The jug handle is shown in two different references as being either reeded or crimped: the jug offered has the applied, crimped handle. Two of the tumblers have the blue and silver foil-applied Fenton label while two tumblers do not have an applied label; no label is applied to the jug. In general, when compared to the jug, the tumblers have a darker cranberry color and more opalescence. These variations of the same hand-production process offer examples of individuality within a common color and pattern. I hope the next owner will be as satisfied with the set as I have been for the 10 years I have the set on display. The set is priced at the low jug estimate and tumblers below estimate and some current market values, so it ought to sell fast. The set will be double-boxed and shipped insured. If you have any questions, please use the Ask a Question button. Thank you.

    Fenton Country Cranberry Swirl Cruet
This Fenton country cranberry, Swirl pattern cruet was listed in the 1982-83 Fenton general catalog but not the 1983-84 catalog. It may be that this item was produced for one year. The black and gold Fenton label indicates the cruet was made between 1979 and 1985. Two labels affixed to the cruets' bottom are interesting and as I acquired the cruet from an estate. The 282 label may indicate a collection or inventory number. The 1982 Retired label may indicate the date the piece was retired from Fenton production. Could the piece have been purchased from the Fenton Gift Shop? Or it may indicate a someone's memorable event: it's fun to speculate! The piece has a strong color, is in mint condition, has a swirled, ground-side stopper with the applied, reeded handle twisted on the long axis. The smooth pontil indicates mould blowing, while the base indicates tooling of the pontil and base. It is a very nice piece that shows very well.

Fenton Cranberry Opalescent Hobnail 8" Dc Vase
Outstanding Fenton Cranberry Opalescent Hobnail 8 double-crimp vase in mint condition. The attached oval, blue and silver Fenton sticker indicates this vase was made between 1953 and 1957. The vase is about 8 high (the same Fenton item number may also be found being 8 1/2 high), 7 1/2 between the inside crimps and 9 1/4 between the outside crimps. As shown in a photo, there are a couple pieces of the iron crimping tool remaining in two crimps, adding personality and uniqueness to the piece. The composition and size, combined with color and opalescent pattern lends a great presence to the piece. A beautiful vase any Fenton collector would be proud to display. The vase will be shipped double-boxed and insured.

Fenton Green Opalescent Hobnail 10" Dc Footed Bowl
Fenton made green opalescent hobnail during 3 time periods, 1940-41, 1952-54 and 1959-1961. However, only during the last period was this 10 footed bowl manufactured, hence its emerald green name. As the photos show, the green has a slight yellow cast; perhaps the color of this metal was difficult to control. It is in mint condition and would be an excellent addition to a Fenton collection. It will be shipped insured and double-boxed. Reference: Walk, John. 2001. Fenton Glass Compendium 1940-1970. Schiffer Publishing. pp. 105-110.

Fenton Silver Crest Bon Bon Dish
This beautiful milk glass bon bon dish with double crimped edging was made by Fenton Glass Co. and is called Silver Crest. Fenton introduced Silver Crest into the line in 1942. However, during the 1960s there was an renewed interest in Silver Crest. Production peaked in the 1960s. Fenton Plum Opalescent Cranberry Hobnail Swung Vase
We are offering a swung vase from Fenton Art Glass. The 12 swung vase was in Fenton's original listing of their new Plum Opalescent color in 1959. It is their ware # 3758PO. Plum opalescent was discontinue in 1963 due to manufacturing problems with the consistency of the color such that variations range from a deep purple to a cranberry color. This particular vase leans more between a lighter shade of purple and cranberry. No swung vase in cranberry opalescent is mentioned in either Walk's or Whitmyers' books on Fenton. This vase is shown on page 219 of Whitmyers' Fenton's Art Glass, 1939-80, 2nd ed. Note the clear trim at the top of the vase, with both this photo and the one on p. 219, which gives credence that this vase is in their Plum Opalescent line. This vase, due to be individually swung, actually has a height of 12 1/2 . There are no cracks or chips. There are a few small bubbles and inclusions which may be seen in the photo. Boxed weight is 1-2 lbs.
