This impressive tall, clear compote with cover is called Teardrop and Thumbprint, made by US Glass as # 15032 (Ripley Glass), ca 1896. Height with lid is 12 inches x 8 inches wide. Hot fusion of stem to bowl, shown by unaligned mold marks, i.e., formed in 2 pieces: bowl separate from stem. There are 2 double chips on the inner part of the lid; bubbles and a subtle ½ inch diagonal chip on the foot. Price reflects chips. This stately Daisy and Button compote was made in 2 pieces and fused with a hot wafer between the stem and bowl. The foot design has alternating round and pointed lines extending outward; there is a plain double ring around the stem just above the foot. There are 3 vertical mold lines in the stem and foot and 2 prominent molds lines in the side of the bowl; they do not align. This is clear glass of good quality and again not easily identified as to maker. My best guess would be Gillinder or some other rarely documented maker. This particular overall arrangement of D only one small stress line (1/2 inch) was noted on the outer edge of the foot, and a few internal bubbles. Measures 10 ½ inches wide x 8 ¼ inches tall, and considered a HS, high standard, comport. A thin line of glass is seen paralleling the inner top edge. This could have been for a lid, but does not look substantial enough for a lid. It seems more like to have been related to manufacture. Great set of 4 Esther pattern sauce bowls, deep uranium green with gold trimming on the feet, lower and top edges. Made by Riverside Glass, ca 1896. There is no damage, other than an occasional very subtle scratch, and the gold is 50-75% intact. There are 3 feet, with the unmistakable Esther pattern under the bowls, and clear panel sides. Measure 3 ¾ inches across x 2 inches tall. Of note is an odd round area of about ¾ inch in the center underneath, with roughness. This has the appearance of a pontil, or at least seems related to method of manufacture. A shear line is noted in the center on the upper surface, and all fluoresce under a UV light, i.e. green uranium. Amberina glass double-handled spooner. Pressed glass spooner having pretty pattern of strawberries and leaves, and scalloped rim with scallops in varying sizes. The strawberry pattern is also on the base of the spooner. Spooner is mostly red, with the yellow being seen through the designs. Size: 5 inches tall; 4 1/2 inches wide across the mouth. Tiered Wedding Bowls, Harvest Grape Milk Glass, Indiana. This set of three milk class comports is called the Stacked or Tiered Wedding Bowl. The largest bowl stands 7.25 tall. The medium bowl is 8.5 tall and the smallest is 7.75 tall. Overall, the stcked bowls are about 18 tall and 10 across. Each of these milk glass comports or bowls is in excellent condition. This is a very nice bright/brilliant clear glass prism shaped heavy glass lamp or light fixture shade with a 2.25 diameter at the fixture fitting end. It is 6.2 tall overall x 4.6 diameter outside, 3.8 diameter inside. It is in great shape, rich looking appearance, no damage, no chips or cracks. It cast a facetted light from the bulb within. It does have a nice ring to it, we believe it is cystal glass. Unique!

This is a mid century Indiana Glass, USA amber or gold footed tumbler or glass in the Whitehall pattern number 521 dating to the 1960s. Footed Lipped Comport, Paneled Grape, Westmoreland. This milk glass comport has a traditional design of grapes and leaves and was produced by Westmoreland Glass between 1940 and 1984. The compote has a round base and a six-panel pedestal rising into an eighteen paneled body. The grape motif is clear and crisp and appears three times on the outside of the comport. The lip is ruffled and paneled as well. This lovely comport or centerpiece would be at home in a classic setting as well as a beach-themed or shabby chic room. Snack Trays and Cups, Cornucopia by Federal Glass, Set of 4. An unusual offering from Federal Glass Co, this set of Cornucopia snack trays has an irregular scalloped edge, an intricately designed fruit filled horn, and an inset for a punch cup. The trays measure about 10 by 7 and are accompanied by punch cups. All of the pieces are in very good vintage condition with a few minor scratches but no chips, nicks or cracks. This is a mid century 8 piece set of amber Indiana Glass Company USA pressed glass plate and cup snack sets in the Sunburst pattern made in the 1970s. The round embossed plates measure 9.25 inches in diameter with an embossed ring to hold the cup which is 2.5 inches high and holds 8 ounces. Purple Iris Bowl, Printemps by Toscany China. A really lovely curved bowl by Toscany China produced in the late 20th century. Snack Trays and Cups, Pair, Orchard Crystal by Hazel Atlas. This pair of ball and rib style snack trays and cups have three compartments, one for food, one for the cup, and one that was originally designed as an individual ashtray but today is used for condiments or relishes. The clear glass snack tray is 10 by 6 , while the cup is 2.75 across the rim and has a solid squared bottom . All of the pieces are in fine to very fine condition with some minor wear appropriate to their age, but no chips, nicks or cracks. These snack trays are often misnamed Candlewick because of the shape of the handles of the trays and cups. Marketed as both Orchard Crystal and Hazel Atlas, these snack trays are still one of the most popular on the market. Sold as a set of 2 trays and 2 cups. 4 Toed Centerpiece Bowl, Sunburst and Diamond Pattern. A lovely smaller centerpiece or console bowl with four fancy toes or feet. With a pattern of sunbursts and diamonds, it is oval in shape, measuring about 8 by 4 . This bowl is 4 tall at the ends and is in very good condition with some roughness on a few of the points of the sawtooth edge, but only one minor chip which is felt more than seen. This is a very heavy crystal bowl with a nice ping to it, and we believe it was produced in the late 20th century in Eastern Europe, probably Czechoslovakia. Crystal Centerpiece Bowl with Hobstars and Sunbursts. This crystal centerpiece bowl has an intricate pattern of hobstars and sunbursts are separated by zipper arches in this handsome 9 bowl. You will find crosshatching and stars in every little corner created by the main pattern. There are small chips in a few of the teeth with only two of the points showing any significant damage, and even that is not noticeable unless you're up close and personal . Hobstar Centerpiece Bowl with 3 Toes, Lead Crystal. This is a beautiful large leaded crystal bowl with three feet and nine panels divided by deep ribs. It features a criss cross medallion that looks like a snowflake in the center and on six of the panels. Every third panel has a hobstar with a raised center. This footed bowl also has cross-hatched designs surrounding the center hobstar and a series of inverted scallops along the rim that give the piece a cut glass look. This bowl is probably European in origin. It stands 4.5 tall and is 8.75 in diameter and is in excellent condition.
