Mini Spittoon-shaped Vase-painted Lily Of The Valley
Vintage clear spittoon-shaped art glass vase featuring a lovely white, hand-painted enamel lily of the valley design. The vase was hand-blown with a smooth, polished pontil and the enamel is all in tact. The little vase measures 3-1/4 diameter at the top, stands 2-1/2 high and features a decorative top edge. Unmarked….I have had it since the 1970s and purchased at an antique show...I am sorry I do not have exact age of item. Excellent condition!

    Antique Glass Pitcher
Antique glass pitcher. For water or lemonade. Very neat old pitcher. The rims and leaves glow yellow under a black light but the plainer portions of the glass do not. It has an applied handle and is 9 inches tall and very fat. There are a few small glass bubble pops within the glass itself and some tiny bumps in the glass; and some whitish residue. The residue might come off with a soak in something strong, but it is likely lime or calcium deposits from water over the years. The glass is pretty clear overall. I'd estimate its age to be 1920's or earlier. It looks like pressed glass but doesn't ping like pressed glass. Despite the age and wear, it's a nifty old pitcher! 2/14scs

Antique M. & Co. Cruet Set
Exceptional antique cruet set. c: pre 1916; the jars glow yellow under black light indicating they mre made before the date listed above. Incised mark on bottom: .30, M I polished a lot of the tarnish away, it could use even more polishing but looks stunning now. It has 2 bottles for oil/vinegar, one bottle for dry mustard, and one that was likely for sugar or pepper. The stand is 9.5 tall x 4.75 wide. All the bottles are clear and just have a bit of dust in the bottoms but I leave the fine cleaning up to you. The sugar/pepper jar with the silverplate lid has some tiny chigger bites on the bottom, nothing noticeable because they are on the bottom. Overall, they are all in what I consider very good antique condition. I could not locate any information on this company so I presume it was not in business very long. The stand has one flaw: one of the corner bars has come detached from the square above it. It is not anything noticeable and you could take it to a jeweler to have it re-soddered to the frame or just leave as is since no one but me will ever be aware of it. This is a very elegant set suitable to use or just display in your formal dining room. 2/14est

    Antique Muffineer
Antique muffineer aka sugar shaker. c:pre 1916. Marked: EPNS on lid, which means electroplated nickel silver. It glows yellow under a black light. There appears to be a pontil or glass scar on the bottom. No chips or cracks. One dark pindot on bottom of bottle which is likely a hot ash dot; it does not come off. It stands 6.75 tall. This would have been a must have accessory in a Victorian home. Nice antique condition. 1/14est

Eapg Alabama / Beaded Bullseye & Drape Water Pitcher
This is an EAPG water pitcher. The pattern, I believe, is called Beaded Bullseye and Drape or Alabama. It was manufactured by U. S. Glass Co., from 1899 until 1910. It is 8 inches tall and 4.75 inches in diameter. I believe that this is a very rare piece. I have looked over the entire internet, and cannot find another water pitcher. It does have one condition issue. On the bottom of the pitcher, there is a small chip, that I smoothed out, and a one inch hairline crack, at the same point. It does hold water, and the spot is not even noticable when the pitcher is sitting. I did take a picture of it so that you can get a good look. The price is due to the rarity of this piece, even with the chip / crack. If you have any questions, or if I am wrong on the pattern information, please e-mail. Thanks. Lurleen

    Antique Salt Cellars
Six antique glass salt dips. Someone e-mailed me to say these were made by the Duncan Glass Co., and are shown in G. Florence's book on Elegant Glass of the Depression Era, pg. 131, 11th Edit. They glow strong a yellow under black UV light indicating they were likely made pre 1916. Each one is about 1.75 wide and 1.25 tall; no chips or cracks, and all 6 match. Price is for all 6. 12/13br

Bakewell Pears And Black Frosted Ribbon Goblet
This is one of the oldest pieces that I have in my shop. I found it quite by accident. It is a goblet manufactured around 1870 by a company called Bakewell, Pears and Black. The pattern name is called Ribbon. It is clear with frosted vertical sections all around its bowl. It is in very good, used condition, and is 6.125 inches tall. I am attaching pictures. If you have any questions, please e-mail. Oh yes, I wanted to thank the Victorian / Pattern Glass online store. I found the information on this goblet on their store. Thanks. Lurleen

    Antique Victorian Enameled Tumbler
We are offering a glass tumbler that has been vividly painted with gold gilding. The applied foot had been manipulated in an elegant fashion. Maker is unknown. Boston . There are no chips or cracks. There is some roughness that may be felt on the bottom due to shelf wear through the years. The painting remains bright and in excellent condition. The gold gilding does have wear around the rim, a result of cleaning through the years.
  • Price: $185.00
    Antique Victorian Footed Enameled Pitcher
We are offering a glass pitcher that has been vividly painted with gold gilding. The applied foot had been manipulated in an elegant fashion. Maker is unknown. Boston . There are no chips. It does have one existing crack, known as a heat crack. This racks is located on the handle where the handle was applied to the pitcher. This was created during the manufacturing process and is not unusual for a piece that was made during the late 1800's. This crack cannot be felt and at close scrutiny it appears that the crack is a result of 2 different layers of glass being melted at the same time. As with any antique glass pitcher, one would not expect to pick it up by the handle, but rather by supporting the base of the pitcher. The painting remains bright and in excellent condition. The gold gilding does have wear around the rim, a result of cleaning through the years. Boxed weight is 2-3 lbs.

Antique Pink Opalescent Enameled Melon Glass Pitcher
This offering is for a glass pitcher that is believed to be circa 1900 from one of the many glass factories in the US. It is blown and fire polished with enameled floral spray in amethyst, pink, and white colors. It is a pink opalescent that shades to almost clear at the bottom, fluted rim, and reeded handle. Similar to glass pitches made by Phoenix Art Glass but we have been unable to confirm. The glass does UV to a rich sulfur yellow. It has a height of 8 1/4 . There are no chips. The only flaw is what appears to be a heat crack where the top of the handle was applied to the pitcher. This is not uncommon in glass pitchers produced during that area. As with most century old glass pitchers, one would not pick it up by the handle, but rather support it from the bottom. Boxed weight is 3-4 lbs.

Northwood Beads & Bark Amethyst Purple Slag Novelty Vase
We are pleased to offer a novelty vase from Northwood Glass. This glass was produced in 1903 using the word Mosaic as its color. The color has since been known as purple or amethyst slag. It remains in excellent condition with no cracks or chips or other flaws noted. Boxed weight is 1-2 lbs.

Northwood Beaded Panels Blue Opalescent Compote
This listing is for a compote from Northwood in their Beaded Panel pattern, circa 1899. This compote was also made by Dugan after Dugan left Northwood Glass, circa 1906-08. The stem is open which distinguishes from the reproductions of the 1950's-on. The pattern is known as Beaded Panels. The opalescence is outstanding. This beautiful blue compote has a height of 3 7/8 with a diameter of 6 1/2 . There are no cracks or chips. A few tiny air bubbles do exist as may be expected. Boxed weight is 1-2 lbs.

    Antique Victorian Syrup Pitcher
Antique Victorian glass syrup pitcher with pewter lid. c:1883. It is much nicer looking in person, than the photos show; and is fatter at the bottom. The interior of lid reads: Patented Mar. 20, '83. It is 7 tall x almost 4 inches wide at bottom. There is a 1.5 inch line in the glass near the center; it is not a scratch or crack; it is a glass flaw/straw mark, see pic #4. This pitcher has a pontil mark on bottom. The pattern might be called quilted diamonds? Overall it displays fine; you won't see the line unless staring at it up close. Lid rim is a bit irregular also. It glows very yellow under a UV/black light indicative of antique glass. 8/13smc

Old Opaque Milk Glass Lamb Covered Candy Dish Lid Only Victorian
Covered Animal Lamb Trinket or Candy Dish. Victorian Era EAPG Early American Pattern pressed glass piece which I believe was made by the McKee and Brothers Glass Works, Circa 1890s. American made in U.S.A. Color name is Opaque Milk, which is a glass color similar to Skim Milk. I can find no mark on it, but it has very nice detailing throughout. We recently sold a Boyd Glass Lamb on Basket which had the same size lid, however, the lamb was lying with the head on the left side, rather than the right side like this one. I did try it on the Boyd Glass Basket, it is does fit. Lid Measures: Length: 4 13/16 inch long. Width: 3 5/8 inches. Height: 2 3/4 inches. Gently Used. No chips, cracks. Has a few tiny flea sized nicks on the rim seam line, straw marks and some streaks in the glass, which is customary to this type of glass. Maybe you have a bottom that needs a lid. It also makes a nice Paperweight. Terrific Easter Gift or Stocking Stuffer. Price is for one.

    Antique Jar
Antique jar. Likely for biscuits or candy. c: pre 1916. It glows yellow under UV/black light. This is a large jar and quite an oldie judging by the amount of wear on its bottom, but I do not know who made it. It sparkles and pings like crystal but not sure if it is crystal or pressed; hard to tell on this one. It looks a bit oblong in the photos, not sure why, but it is a nice shape in reality, see pic #7 for a better view of it, (it is fatter). There are some long stretch lines on its bottom and on the lid and a long cut line that follows the shape of the bottom pinwheel pattern for most of the way around but not all the way around. Not sure why or how that got there but I'd guess it happened when it was made, see pics 3,4,5. It also has one tiny fleabite on lid. The age/wear flaws on body of jar are hard to find and you just see them if inspecting it closely. It is 9.5 tall with lid on or 6.75 without lid on x 4.5 across top rim. A great old jar to use for biscuits, scones, candy, etc. 6/13scsr

Gorgeous antique Daniel & Arter glass biscuit jar. c:1886-1887. This English jar has a registry mark on interior bottom: Rd45942, dating it to the above time period. It pings like crystal. It is a gorgeous jar and well-hallmarked on both interior of lid and side of metal rim. It is marked D & A, EPNS, 6781, #33. It is 7.25 tall up to finial. There are no chips or cracks. There is some dark tarnish, mainly around the lid handle and near sides of rim and handle area, see pic #6. I will leave the polishing up to you. It glows a strong yellow under a UV light. This is a great antique for the person who collects beautiful treasures from the past! 10/12estcs

Victorian Green Glass- Lily Of The Valley- Covered Bowl
I have collected items with lily of the valley for over 40 years and I purchased this lovely covered bowl in the 1970s and was told it was made during the Victorian era C 1880-1890. Beautiful deep green glass antique covered bowl measures 4 diameter and 2 high. The cover top measures 3 high x 4-1/2 diameter with a touch of gold (which is worn) on the knob. There are two delicate hand-painted lily of the valley sprays of raised enamel on the cover with a two tone green painted leaf design. The center bottom of the base has a smooth pontil. (The enameling is very fine and good detail) The edges around the top of bowl and bottom of cover are slightly rough with a few flea bite nicks which commensurate with age but by means detracts from the covered dish. Excellent condition and a fine and rare item guaranteed to please any collector.

This unusual bowl has three feet and the sides are straight down. It is pressed glass with some cut glass areas. There is a large daisy cut above each foot and a cross-hatched area with dots in between. There is a large 3 petal design in the bottom. This piece would make a good centerpiece with fruit or flowers.

Antique Pressed Footed Celery Vase, Arched Leaf ?
Antique pressed footed celery vase, Arched Leaf ? $66 This impressive Antique pattern glass footed celery vase resembles Arched Leaf from 1870's, but it has a knobbed stem above the foot which may mean a variant, or another maker. It is also similar to a piece by Edward Moore, UK, same era, but again, slight difference, this time in the foot pattern. My guess would be more likely UK, since there is a subtle scallop along the rim of the foot. The glass is brilliant, measuring about 8 ¾ inches in height x 5 ¼ inches across the top. There is light base wear consistent with age, 2 bruises under the foot with short radiating cracks and one small chip to a top point. Tall and elegant, with a nice symmetric flare to the top, this celery is quite heavy. Buyer to pay for shipping by USPS Priority with Delivery Confirmation, 5 lbs. from 06068. #482

    Antique English Biscuit Jar
Superior antique English biscuit jar. Gorgeous 'large' jar even though it appears small in the pic and it has a silverplate lid. The hallmarks are: R R or R P, another letter which is worn, then L, 772, and RP or BP in a crown. It is crystal or cut glass, not pressed glass. Bottom is very worn indicating a lot of age. No chips or cracks; has one bubble in the glass; a tiny scratch, a couple tiny dots of tarnish on lid, and a small ding in rim of metal, but nothing major. It displays beautifully and is almost 7 tall up to rim; or 9 tall up to finial. Perfect for biscotti at your next tea party! 4/0porth-ck

Victorian- Dresser Bottle - Cold Paint
This is a 9-¾ inch dresser bottle, cold painted, with most paint remaining, that I've seen in this type painted milk glass dresser bottle, which most likely dates 1890-1910. There is some top rim fading of the gold trim, but the cold paint on the body is really in nice shape, even has red, which is barely faded, and most of it remains intact. There is a scroll and beaded design to the glass as well, and it comes with its heavy solid milk glass stopper.

    Northwood - Plums And Cherries - Pitcher/tumblers
This pattern Plums And Cherries was made in 1906 by the Northwood Glass Co., and is very similar to the Cherry and Cable pattern, the difference being this has the Cherries (stained red) on one side and the Plum pattern (stained purple) on the other, so I think this pattern is harder to find, let alone with two tumblers! The tumblers have the same pattern, of cherries one side and plums on the other. This decorated crystal pitcher stands 8-½ inches height, with a base of 4-¼ inches across. The tumblers are 4-¼ inches height, top opening of 2-¾ inches, and a base 2-½ inches across. Condition: No chips or cracks to the pitcher and one tumbler, and one tumbler has a base bruise, can barely be felt, and not seen unless under magnification. I would say wonderful condition for 100 year old glass! As for the color, there is some loss of color on the gold trim, and the plums and the cherries are about the same color of red now, not purple at all, and there is light fading of the red stain there as well, but again for the age not bad!
