This original postcard is from the 1933 Century Of Progress (Chicago World's Fair) which was held in Chicago. It is in excellent condition and the front features "Interior Of The Golden Pavilion Of Jehol, Chicago World's Fair". The reverse side features a postcard format, which is unused and a paragraph that says "Interior Of The Golden Pavilion Of Jehol-In The Center Background The Image Of The Great Avalokitecvara Smiles Serenely Down Upon The Worshippers From Its Stone Table. The Patron Saint Of Tibet And Protector Of its Capital, Is Supposedly Reincarnated In The Dalai Lama Of Lhasa" and measures approx. 3 1/2" x 5 1/2".
