Circa: 1930
Manufacturer: A. H. Heisey & Co.
Heisey produced the Empress blank beginning in the 1930's, but it is my understanding that produced in crystal, the pattern name was changed to Queen Ann at a later time. I believe this is very confusing as Heisey made an earlier Queen Anne pattern that is completely different so I will refer to this as Empress.
This signed oval compote is etched with the charming Lafayette (#451) plate etching which is a colonial chintz pattern of themed motifs.
The compote measures 6" high, 5 1/8" wide and 7 1/2" long. No chips, cracks or discolorations.
