A set of three delightful red hard plastic figural Christmas candle holders from 1930s Germany. In the center rings are hand painted thin hard plastic musical angels - one playing a violin, one playing a lute, the third holding a songbook or sheet music. The classic German style chubby angels have curly blond hair, short sleeveless dresses, and bare feet. The candlesticks are 3-1/2 inches high by 2-5/8 diameter at the centers. The brass candle cups at the tops are about 5-/8 diameter (inside dimension). They are marked on the bottoms Made In Germany Reg. 50-55/56-67. The candlesticks are probably unused as there are no signs of candle wax in the brass cups. One has a couple of minor scratches on the base, otherwise excellent condition.

This 1970s Christmas village set was made in Japan and originally came in a box labeled Alpine Christmas Village. The 5-1/4 tall church and nine of the 2-3/4 high houses are from the same set and have pieces that come apart so you can easily change or insert lightbulbs in the backs. Two houses are a little different. They have 3-dimensional plastic Santa and child figures in front along with green bottle brush trees. These have the holes in the backs for lights as well as cord hangers at the tops. A 20-bulb, 6-1/2 foot long string of working miniature white Christmas lights is included. I don't have the original box.

A big, pretty 1950s Coloramic pictorial lithographed metal Christmas tree stand with winter snow scenes all around, made by Poloron Products of New Rochelle New York. This type of decorated metal is usually called tin litho but technically I think the metal is steel. The tree stand is 20 inches diameter at the base, 4 diameter at the top opening and has three adjustable screw supports to hold the tree. It's in very good condition for its age, a few faint rub marks to the surface but no scratches to the litho and no dents or dings. There's some rust in the water reservoir from previous use. The box has wear but serves its purpose fine for storage and protection. So pretty, there's no way you'll need or want to use a Christmas tree skirt with this stand.

This rare 1920s Irwin Santa Claus and sleigh Christmas mantle, windowsill, or tabletop display comes in its original box. It's almost 15 inches long and features a standing celluloid Santa Claus holding a basket of roses in a glittered cardboard composition sleigh which is driven by two large celluloid reindeer with red ribbon reins. All three celluloid pieces are marked Irwin Made in U.S.A. and all are in wonderful condition with no splits, holes, or damage. The pieces are mounted on a heavy fiberboard base painted white (now ivory colored) with white mica and iridescent clear glitter snow . The sleigh is stiffened cardboard coated in iridescent glitter, 5 inches long by 3 inches high. Santa is about 4 inches high, the red eyed reindeer are about the same height. The only damage is a bump or bruise to the back edge, shown in the 4th photo. The sleigh and base have of course darkened some with age and are no longer bright white which just adds to the nostalgia and antique look. The box is only fair condition with some inner tape repairs, chipped edges, and age discoloration but it has certainly done its job in providing protection and storage for the display. One side of the box is marked Irwin Plastic Playthings No. 207, Made In U.S.A.

This white mica cardboard composition Christmas snowman figure was made in Japan in the 1950s. It's 7-3/4 inches high and comes in its original box, identified as number 1005/882 Cardboard Snowman. He's dressed up in a big black tophat, black satin bow tie, green chenille earmuffs, and red chenille cane. The white snow bead coating is dusted with gold glitter and there is some loss of the beads at the back where it rubs against the box.

I am not sure if this large Madonna and Child wax Christmas figure was made by Koestel as the label has been removed from the inside of the skirt. It was definitely made in West Germany though and looks very much like other Koestel wax angel tree topper figures. The Madonna is 14-1/2 inches high to her metallic gold braid and tinsel fringe halo. She wears a long pink and gold brocade gown under a pink satin and green velvet cape decorated with gold glass jewel stars. She holds a swaddled Holy Infant Christ child in her arms. The heads and hand are hand painted molded wax. Underneath the gown is a metallic gold foil cone, allowing you to display the figure as a tree topper. The figure is in good vintage condition with no tears or damage. The back of the cape looks stained or discolored in my photo but it is not - it's just shadows or reflections to the sheen of the fabric. Some plastic gold lacing has been tied to the waist for hanging or display, it's removable. There is some wear to the foil paper back of the halo and to the inside of the cone base, possibly from being displayed at the top of a Christmas tree.

This Enesco Christmas Figurine by Ruth Morehead, Kitten Knits Crimson and Snowman figurine is marked: 1986 / Morehead Inc. / Enesco / Taiwan R.O.C. It also has the Enesco foil label on the bottom. An orange tabby cat in red sweater putting a green scarf on an adorable snowman wearing a black hat decorated with holly on it's band. In very good + condition without chips, cracks or fleabites it measures 3 1/2 inches tall, 4 3/4 inches wide and 3 1/4 inches deep. An addition to any Enesco Morehead Figurine Collection. Never used, mint in original package cute little stocking stuffer squeaker toy coin purse for a little girl, made in the 1960s or late 1950s. The vinyl purse is shaped like Santa's face and has flicker eyes that open and close, and Santa's red nose squeaks when pressed. The back says Santa Purse by Bur-Wil. It's 4 inches high and has a cloth and brass zipper closure at the top. Perfect condition, still sealed, made in British Hong Kong. Nice stocking stuffer or gag Christmas gift for ladies of a certain age. Three available, price is for each.

This old miniature C-6 figural Christmas light bulb is quite rare. It's a 3-sided Santa Claus face elongated diamond shape, just 2-1/4 inches high and made of clear painted glass rather than the usual more modern milk glass of the 1940s and 1950s. The bulb is marked 15 V Japan around the neck. Best of all, it still works, lighting up just fine.
