These lovely cups and saucers in the #622 Crystal Pretzel pattern with fruit were made by the Indiana Glass Company (of Dunkirk, IN 1907 - 2002) in the 1930s and 1940s.
The Indiana Glass Company began in Dunkirk, Indiana, in 1907. The company produced Depression as well as carnival glass during the 1930's and they manufactured hand molded glass as well as machine made glass in the same factory. Indiana Glass started producing pressed patterns in 1929.
In 1983 Lancaster Colony purchased the company. Lancaster Colony closed the factory in 2002.
The set includes 8 cups and 9 saucers all of which are in very good + condition except for 2 saucers with an underside rim chip.
The cups measure 2 1/4 inches high, 2 3/4 inches across the rim and have the number 30 on the bottom and the saucers measure 5 3/4 inches in diameter.
An addition to any Indiana Glass Cup and Saucer Collection.
