Offering this wonderful old book titled Early Poems by James Russell Lowell, published by Hurst & Co, New York, no publish date, but looks to be late 1800's. Pale green cloth hardboards with lavendar morning glory vines down the front and spine. Ornate gold lyre decoration on front and spine. Very minimal edge wear, no fraying or spine cracks. Page edges have gold gilt on all three sides. Pages are clean and tight (title page has some foxing on top of page). No tears, scribbles; each page has a red line framing the poems. Spine is secure. A lovely old book for your collection!
