Gold-tone Real Life Sand Dollar Necklace By Parker
This is a lovely vintage sand dollar pendant/necklace created by Parker during the 1960's/1970's time frame. The gold-tone sand dollar was once a living creature, a relative to the starfish. Suspended from the 15 inch gold color chain, is the 1 1/2 inch Holy Ghost Shell, as it is also called. It has a center star and five petals extending outward which represent the Easter Lily. There are four gold tone beads on the chain just above the sand dollar which complement the over-all design. The jewelry creator, Parker, included a tag with a description of the meaning of the real life sand dollar, and this will be sent along with the sand dollar pendent in a gold gift box. Although of vintage age, the necklace is in fine condition and has only minimum wear. The accompanying Parker descriptive card shows age browning, but no tears or writing.
