1930s Kenmore Chrome And Bakelite Twin Waffle Iron
This Kenmore model 3076464 chrome and black Bakelite waffle iron is from the late 1930s. It makes small twin waffles and has individually controlled heating elements, allowing you to cook two waffles at different light or dark levels at once. The waffle grids are only 4-1/2 by 5 inches, almost miniature. Both elements heat up fine, and both glass jewel eye indicators glow read once the grids are heated to the selected temperature. The double cord unit is in excellent condition with no damage or wear. The chrome is shiny with no corrosion or pitting. The waffle maker could use a little more detail cleaning than what I gave it, otherwise it's a great old kitchen appliance that beats the pants off modern Chinese semi-disposable imports. About 15 inches wide across the handles by 7-3/4 deep front to back by 4 inches high.
This vintage model 20-26 Sunbeam Deluxe 2-slice toaster in the beautiful antique copper finish was made in the USA around 1980. Until I made toast to test it I could not tell whether it had ever been used - it's spotlessly clean inside and out. The box does have some storage wear and is missing the original paperwork, so I have to assume it was displayed for a brief time but it could not have been used more than a few times. The toaster is just under 10-1/2 inches wide by 4-3/4 deep by 6-1/4 inches high. It works perfectly and has no damage, stains, or kitchen residue. I have this exact same model Sunbeam copper toaster on my kitchen counter (purchased used about 15 years ago), and I can tell you it still works great, is super easy to clean, and the gorgeous copper finish looks good in just about any kitchen.
General Electric Deco Round Chrome And Bakelite Waffle Iron
This General Electric Hotpoint sleek round waffle maker is the model 129Y183, made in the late 1930s. It's shiny chrome with butterscotch Bakelite side and lifter handles. It has a glass jewel eye that lights up red and a convenient tray base that will catch any batter drips. The waffle iron is about 4 inches high, 13 or so inches wide across the handles, and 7-1/2 diameter across the top. It heats up fine and is in clean condition, though it could use a little more detail cleaning in the seams and to the grids. The chrome is shiny with no abrasions or pitting, though there are some typical minor use scuffs and cleaning marks to the top of the lid. The cord fits well but is probably not original - I think it would have had a cloth cord.
West Bend Small Appliance Heat Control Power Cord Model # 7 Probe
Vinyl Electric cord and temperature probe, Black Plastic with black long cord. Gently Used. Good, light signs of use. Plastic, Dial face, cord and plugs are all nice with only light signs of usage. I do not have an appliance to try it, but it's condition leads me to believe it will work fine. Price is for one.
Presto Small Appliance Power Cord Heat Control Model # 0690005
Black Bakelite with black long cord. Gently Used. Good, light signs of use. Plastic, Dial face, cord and plugs are all nice. I do not have an appliance to try it, but it's condition leads me to believe it will work fine. Price is for one.
This is a primitive table top metal pie safe. I believe it is composed of a galvanized tin and then painted. Much of that paint has worn off. Metal is not as good as wood for holding paint and so over the years this would be expected. I think this is over 100 years old. There are a few dents in it and on the inside there is a wooden shelf that was too large to begin with, that has cracked. This may have happened when it was put or 'forced' in. I don't know if this was original to the piece or not..my instincts tell me that it wasn't. There is also a small mirror that is on the inside of the door. This may also have been added, again, I am not sure. If it was, it was because it was converted to be used in a bathroom as a medicine cabinet. This pie safe measures 20 tall, 13 1/2 long and 11 1/4 wide. Be sure and check the pictures as they will give you a better idea as to condition and quality and are part of this description. I have other pics of all of the sides that I was not able to fit in here so if you are serious about buying this and need to see those, just contact me. Ask for pics 1758-60+62 from my 12/11/23 pic folder. Happy Collecting!!!!!
Retro 50s Chrome And Black Electric Deep Fryer Cooker
This 1950s Model 1520 electric combination deep fryer and slow cooker has a shiny chrome and black finish with Deco style Bakelite arrow temperature dial. The front is dominated by a black and silver metal panel which lists temperatures and cooking/frying times for various dishes. It was made for the J.C. Penney Company and says Penneys in the light-up window in the center. The cooker is clean with a bright, shiny finish both inside and out. It works fine and heats up quickly. The aluminum fryer basket with detachable handle is included. The Pyrex type glass lid is spotless with no chips or damage (it's clear glass but a trick of the light made it look yellow in my photos). The heavy rubber cord is in good condition though of course the plug is the old fashioned non-polarized type. About 8-1/2 inches high not including the glass lid by 10-1/2 diameter not including side handles.
Gleaming and attractive Westinghouse chrome pop-up 2-slice kitchen toaster, model number TO-71 from the late 1940s. It has a streamlined rounded oval shape with etched leafy floral decoration on both sides. The black molded plastic handles and sliding darkness knob are decorative as well as functional. The base and slider knob appear to be Bakelite. The toaster is 7-1/4 inches high by about 12 inches wide handle to handle. The chrome finish is mirror-shiny and spotlessly clean. There are no dings, pitting, or scratches other than the type of hair-fine surface marks that come from cleaning and polishing. There's some mild heat staining between the slice openings, no doubt it will come off with some elbow grease. Though the toaster has been used, the interior is pretty clean as well - no crumbs or buildup of grease and kitchen residue, it's ready to use. The original cloth covered cord is in good shape with no splits, frays, or cuts. Of course I made some toast to test it and it works just fine.
Vintage 1950's Dominion Electric Co Model 2024 Electric Table Fan
Vintage 1950's Dominion Electric Co Model 2024 Electric Table Fan. This fan is 15 tall x 14 wide. It originally had two speeds but only works on high now. It has rust and loss of paint to the body. It is heavy and shipping weight is 15 pounds.
This is really nice, vintage, Whipping Cream Bowl with Beater Top. The Bowl is clear glass with the top threaded for the original lid to screw on. The metal lid fits nicely. The Beater part works freely. The Jar measures 6 inches in diameter. The unit together measures 4 1/2 inches to top of the knob. The glass bottom is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The metal beater and cogs are discolored from age. The wooden handle is in good condition, but the red color is faded. This is a great kitchen gadget.
One of those space-age inspired black and chrome kitchen appliances that could only have come from the early 1960s, this original vintage Sunbeam Carousel Model CR rotisserie has a funky bullet rocketship or robot shape. It's 16 inches tall to the top of the glass dome, about 12 wide from handle to handle. It will cook roasts, whole chickens, hot dogs, potatoes, ribs, lobster tails, and more. Cooking times for many foods are printed on the metallic panel at the front of the unit. The broiler looks like it was used very little and is in excellent, clean condition (though apparently I missed some spots on the glass dome when cleaning - I only noticed them after I took the pictures). There is some normal heat discoloration to the metal reflector shield from the heating element. It works fine and heats up well, with no damage or wear to the cord. There's a small depressed scratch about an inch to the upper left corner of the front label, and a minor ding to the side back.
Fry Glass Chase Brass & Copper 12 Inch 3 Part Server
This is a really great and unusual server. The Chrome part of this server was made by the Chase Brass and Copper Co., Montpelier, OH. The base measures 12 inches in diameter without the plastic handles X 5 inches high, and 15 inches in diameter including the handles. The three tab handled Glass inserts each measure 4 1/2 inches high X 5 3/8 inches in diameter. One Glass insert is light green, two are light yellow. The Chrome base is signed CHASE BRASS and COPPER CO, U.S.A., Model 90093 WATTS 660 & 150. Each of the glass inserts are signed OVENGLASS Guaranteed. The three Glass inserts have chrome lids with plastic knobs and there are four plastic feet on the bottom of the warmer. We do not have the plug for the warmer, but the way it is made would be great to fill the base with ice and use as a cold dip server rather than filling it with water as intended. The Chrome is all in very good condition with no damage. The plastic knobs, feet and handles are all very good with no damage. The glass inserts are also excellent with no chips or cracks. We believe this item to be from the 1930s to 1940s.
This classic model RO-91 Westinghouse roasting oven was produced from 1949 to 1953. The original owner modified the lid handle to a sturdy, non-heat conducting wooden type. I noticed when testing the roaster that the handle makes it much easier to avoid burning your fingers on the glass window panel or the aluminum lid. The oven measures 2 feet wide handle to handle by about 9 inches high, not including the height of the lid. It comes with a removable gray porcelain enamel liner pan which is 17 by 11-1/2 by 5-1/2 inches deep (interior measurements), as well as an adjustable tiered roasting rack. Both side handles have built in lid holder knobs. Below the red glass Rudolph Nose temperature dial is a pull-out tray with a printed cooking time chart for almost any type of food you can think to cook in the oven - even cakes and cookies. The roaster heats up fine and the cord is in good condition with no splits or breaks. The light bulb for the glass temperature selector dial is burned out. The oven is clean with only a few light rub marks and very small scratches to the white enamel exterior. The side handles have some paint wear and the gray liner pan has some chipping to the enamel finish - two small chips at the inside bottom where the legs of the rack sit, and a couple of larger chips to the outside rim edges. The lid has several small bumps and dings but the dented center appearance in the first photo is some type of freak optical illusion created by shadows and lighting - it's definitely not as beat up as it looks. These ovens were outrageously expensive in their day but they were built to last.
Kenmore Vintage Professional Beauty Salon Adjustable Hair Dryer
A better quality, heavy duty beauty salon professional hair dryer by Kenmore Sears Roebuck, made in the USA, model number 625-61390, circa 1950s. The heavy weighted base and cone dryer hood are enameled steel. The chromed steel pole is adjustable from 47 to 58 inches in height (top of the dryer hood). The hood tilts fully and there is a hanging control dial so both the stylist and customer can adjust the temperature settings (cold, warm, hot) or turn the dryer on and off without having to reach around or get up. The base measures 14 inches diameter. The dryer hood is 16 inches high by about 10-1/2 diameter at the opening. The unit is in excellent vintage condition, clean with no dents or dings and little finish wear. The fan and heat controls work fine, though the dryer takes a couple of minutes to reach full heat output on the HOT setting. Weighs 22 pounds before packaging and boxing.
Buffet Chef 1940s Chrome With Oak Trim Electric Food Server Warmer
This 1940s electric buffet cooker-server-warmer appliance is called the Buffet Chef. I can't read the manufacturer's name on the bottom, only Toledo Inc. It's quite big at about 11-1/2 diameter, 13-1/2 inches across the handles, by 5-3/4 high to the rim. It holds 3 quarts with plenty of room for stirring. The round base is shiny chrome, the lid and upper shoulder area are spun aluminum. The four feet, side handles, and lid finial are a light colored wood - I'm pretty sure it's oak. The server heats up well and has a side switch for two heat settings, high and low. The cloth covered cord and plug are in very good condition with no splits, frays, or damage. The cooker is clean and shiny inside and out, though there are some storage scuffs to the aluminum lid.

This is a beautiful Sunbeam stacking coffee pot. It was introduced at the 1939 Worlds Fair. The top pot brews the coffee and the bottom part is for serving it up. The water is placed in the bottom pot and the grounds are put into the top pot. As the water is heated it causes a vacuum to be created. The vacuum draws the water into the top pot. As it cools the water in the top pot trickles down through the coffee grounds back to the bottom pot. I guess this would be considered to be an early predecessor to the drip coffee pot. It has a few bumps and bruises as is to be expected but the chrome and bakelite are actually in very good shape. We have plugged it in and it does heat up. It comes complete with the filter assembly and cord so it's ready to brew or display. The metal plate on the bottom is not readable so we can't determine which version of C-20 this pot might be.
This is a very unusual coffee warmer. I have 3 in different patterns. They use a coil, or in this case plate, that hangs into the center to keep the coffee warm. This one is in excellent condition and comes complete with cord. It is the smallest of the 3 standing only 7 tall by 6 1/2 wide. A like item was once shown on Antique Road show with a value of $300.00. I know better here for you.
