Three vintage glass jars. Two are definitely vintage, not sure on the sugar jar. The large GEMCO jar is vintage, for straws; cool jar. It is 11 inches tall. Next is some type of etched glass mixer jar with aluminum lid and it is vintage. Nice condition; stands 8.5 tall. Last is the sugar jar marked: M USA and is 5.5 tall. I think the sugar jar might also be vintage because it was made in the USA and hardly anything is still made here. You can use it for your Steevia sweetener! Old Isaly's Quart Milk Bottle. The red around the Bottle is readable but has faded/worn over the years. The bottom is embossed The Isaly Dairy Co., Youngstown, Ohio with a big I in the center. Although rough, Bottle also has it's original tin cap on top. There is some roughness around the bottom edge as well as some on the outside lip edge (not on drinking lip edge, but lip edge below it). Inside is still a little dirty and not certain how much more it would clean up. Make a nice display with one's vintage Kitchen décor or Milk Bottle collection. Buyer to pay shipping.

Fruit Jars-Big Quart, and Little Pint Buddies, Barrel Shaped with nice sculptured line design as shown.Suspected Ball, however there were other Companies that had a similar shape. The set comes with Zinc Caps, which I put on them because when they were dug the rusted tops fell apart they were so damaged! So at least we know they belong. There is a slight Rust haze as they were not Professionally cleaned but still look Great. There is a pontil on the bottom of the big one and the numbers 660 and opposite that is a big #1. The small barrel bottom also has a penny sized pontil and the numbers 598-9. Sorry I don't have more info about the exact Co. This aqua glass mason jar with wire and bar seal was made by the Ball Bros. in Muncie, Indiana is marked: Ball / Ideal / Patd. July 14, 1908. In Buffalo, NY, William Charles Ball and his brothers (Lucius, Lorenzo, Frank C., Edmund Burke, and George Alexander) were in the business of manufacturing wood-jacketed tin cans for the storage of oil, lard and paints. This Paneled jar is Similar to the PATENT # 18767 which BALL bought from ( ? )This is a Quart Size SUSPECTED BALL Jar PATENT,for the simple reason that as soon (it seems) as some fledgling or on the edge Company comes out with a pretty design, they swoop down with some cash and buy it (but still letting the Co. use the design for a period of time.) Reminds me of the Elvis/Sun Records Story because you sell what could be your prize to keep the Co. Afloat! But that's Life and what makes BALL so Great. They know a winner when they see one! Now, if they can only find a way to get us Baby Boomers and our Kids to Not be afraid of Learning a New, Quick, Modern, Sanitary, Foolproof way of Canning Food! (Someone should Invent Something!!) Our Sluggish Economy would be in better Shape. New Brands would be created,New Food Businesses Established ,New American Factories Started, Plenty of Jobs,Low Unemployment across the Country and we'd once again be living The Life Of Riley!!. OK back to the Bottle at Hand,I dug it up in the basement of a beautiful circa 1850-1860 Farmhouse (no indoor Plumbing) where I found 90% of my bottles and Jars. It was in better shape than most of them,as the mineral residue and rust came off easier. Anyway it is Beautiful and try as I might I can't find enough on these Paneled types of jars. There is a depression in the Base and I slapped a Zinc lid on simply because it fit,(it had none on when I dug it up)On the base the only marking is the #5 in the middle of the Depression. There are 8 panels around the jar. I've never seen another like it on any Glass Jar Web Site. It Reminds me of the Art Deco Types I saw on a Convention Report where there was a Display Table titled ART DECO BALL JARS. It was a beautiful display, and I have some of those Jars which are my favorite.I love the Clear Art Deco, and I'll be offering more of them. Shipping is $8.95 Domestic USA Priority (3 days).
This is the Quart Size WIDEMOUTH Telephone Lightning Jar.In RB#10 this Jar is closest to RB2792. but there are differences on the Base and to me the bottle is more Light Blue than Aqua. The Cap looks Aqua, Different from the Body. The Bubbles are Fantastic, Like Super Duper Blisters. To the left of the 3 bubbles there is an Elongated Narrow Blister Bubble in the Front Which is so thin it has partially chipped about an 8th of an inch . It's hard to tell because it is a Blister Bubble, But if you Run your finger along the pointy end of the blister you feel a slight snag. I tried to get it all in the Photos but my Camera just doesn't really get Close-ups Good Enough OR is it my Skills??? There is a backwards #1 directly under the Circle Frame surrounding the embossing and several more small bubbles including two in the base circles, This must have been a (Monday Morning) made Jar in that factory!! Shipping is $8.95 Domestic USA Priority (3 days).
