Very old. Very used Royal Knife Sharpener with a wooden red handle. Two sets of rollers sharpen the knife. This was my Grandmother's kitchen sharpener. I am going to give this a light cleaning. It can clean up like new if you wish, but I don't like to take off all of the patina.

This is a really nice Crystal Vitex Glass 3-STAR Fruit or Cake Knife made by the Renwal Distribution Co., Inc, New York, N.Y. This Knife measures 9 Inches long. It is in very good condition with no scratches, but has a 1/4 inch chip on the blade next to the handle plus a pin-point flea bit just past the chip. It is in the original box. The box is in fair condition with the end missing. Also, I taped the edges for support to keep it from being torn more. Size: 4-3/8 inches wide, 15-inches length, 2-inches depth / 2-1/8 inches from slot to handle rest block, 9-1/2 inches from slots down. Condition: used, have normal use scratches - especially where the knife handle would rest against the wood knife block above the slots (once filled the knife handles would cover this area nicely, or could touch up) Comments: one has four solid slots and the other has three solid slots and one open slot, for a longer size knife to fit, I'd think. Two padded areas on back of each to hold away from wall to hang correctly, and each has two screw areas to attach for hanging to wall.

This carving set was made in the United States by Lamson and Goodnow. The knife blade was imported from Solingen, Germany. Each piece is silver mounted with heavy stag grips. The knife is 14 1/4 long and the fork is 10 1/4 long. The fork has a built-in adjustable rest. These were made in the early 1900's and are in excellent condition. This company offers life-time sharpening. This set would be a great addition to your holiday dinner table.

Great old bread knife, with a well-marked blade signed: Thomas Mfg. Co.- Dayton, Ohio - Warranted - Burns Patent No. 1388547. That patent number dates to: filed September 25, 1919 and was granted August 23, 1921 to Joseph E. Burns of Syracuse, N.Y. as a serrating edge cutting tool. Total length is 13-1/4 inches with a 9-inch blade, which is serrated into 6 different areas. The wood handle has been painted white, and the old paint is scuffed in a few areas, and the blade has some edge damage as well, from age and use. Looking from one side it looks good; from the other side the there is edge wear near the point extending for about an inch. Condition: used

Overall length is just over 8 1/4 inches. 3.8 inches wide blade. All of the handles are tight and secure. They show some overall wear from use but a good buffing would make them look like new.
