Salt and Pepper Shakers

Tarnished, Very Elegant Salt & Peppers in Greek/Roman Style shaping with Herringbone Pattern up the sides and Carved Flower at the top sitting on 2 graduated pedestals. There is 1 hole for pepper, 3 holes for Salt.They have a good solid weight to them, though not TOO heavy. The metal is(suspected electroplated silver over copper) and the tarnishing cleans up with Silver Polish. Seems to have never been used, very clean. Shipping is $7.00 USA Domestic Priority.

These porcelain owl salt and pepper shakers were made in Germany in the 1920's or 1930's. They are in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs and they have good paint and detail. There are a couple very small, insignificant flecks of paint loss and the cork stoppers were pushed up inside. One shaker is marked on the bottom Germany (see photos) with the number 72 while the other just has the number 9 and they are each 2 7/8 high, 2 across from side to side and 1 7/8 across from front to back.

A pair of stoneware art pottery salt and pepper shakers from Mexico with their original labels. They're decorated in the traditional Tonala floral style with enamel paints in blue, green, and brown and are about 3-1/2 high. The foil labels read Netzi, Hecho a Mano, Hand Made, Hecho en Mexico. The bottoms are marked Netzi Mex with the artist's initials. Missing the stoppers, otherwise excellent condition.

Vintage American Bisque Disney shaker assortment. All 3 pairs for one price; or for sale individually = $25/each this way. Four pairs of vintage glass shakers for one price. First is a a pair of pattern glass shakers with sterling silver tops; likely antique. Tops are very darkened. They stand 3.75 tall. Next is a pair of crystal shakers, 3.5 tall. One has a tiny chigger bite off bottom corner edge. Next is a pair of pressed glass shakers with Irice mark on bottom. The lids are showing some wear. Irice was a leading importer and distributor of Czech perfume bottles in the 1930's. These are about 2.5 inches high. Last is a large pressed glass pair with goldish tone lids, (I believe these are old EPNS lids); they are 6 inches tall. One lid has some tiny dings in it. Salt and pepper shakers set marked Royal Austria with lovely patterns of roses, buds and leaves with gold rim trim with some wear to the gold. They are in nice condition and are 2 1/2 inches high and 2 inches wide. They do have cork stoppers and have felt wrapped around them to keep them tight. Just as found.

Vintage Salt tall and approximately 5 1/4 long and 3 1/4 wide. They are white porcelain deocrated with pretty blue hats and scarves that are embossed with white bumps. The orange beaks and feet complete the picture. I don't know when they were made, but they are obviously vintage because they have overall crazing. There are two under-the-glaze paint fleks on the salt shaker. Otherwise, they are in very good condition and the stoppers are missing. There is a mark on the base of each one but it is unreadable.

This is a souvenir cruet set of porcelain salt and pepper shakers featuring the Statue Of Liberty, Liberty Island, New York with gold floral chintz tops from 1950-1960s. The salt and pepper shakers or cruets measure 2.75 inches high by 1.5 in diameter and are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or wear. A wonderful souvenir of an American icon. I cried sailing out past her 4 years ago thinking about my grandparents sojourn on Ellis Island. Wonderful!

Petite at 2 1/2 inches tall, this 25th Anniversary pair, salt and pepper shakers are in very fine vintage condition. On a white background, is a silver decoration of leaf garland, ribbons and bells, along with 25th. Each shaker has a 6 hole pouring area on top, and a flower petal design. Adorable, retro mid-century 4 inch tall figural salt and pepper shakers by Enesco, featuring green-suited pixie elves sitting on mushrooms. They were made at the height of the 1950s pixy craze and there were at least three matching companion Helpful Kitchen Pixie pieces made to match. Both shakers are in excellent condition with no damage, rubber stoppers and foil labels intact.

Golden Harvest No. 560 salt and pepper shaker set, made in the late 1960s by Homer Laughlin China. The shakers also match a similar HLC pattern called Castillian which uses the same shape and color. As you can see, they're still sealed in their package and in mint condition.

These cute Yellowstone souvenir porcelain nodder salt and pepper shakers were made in 1930s Japan by the Takito Company. They have the impressed mark Patent T.T. on the underside of the holder. The two bear cubs fit into the openings at the top of the holder and rock or nod when touched. The base is decorated with hand painted pink roses and have script lettering Salt and Pepper. At the back is a gold foil label reading Yellowstone Park. The shakers have their cork stoppers and are in good vintage condition with no damage.

Vintage spice rack and 18 glass spice jars. I painted this old wood rack black, then sanded off some of the surface to give it a distressed rustic look. You can sand it down even more; or sand it a bit and re-paint it another color, or leave as is. The jars are 4 inches tall. I do have some labels for them. The exteriors need a better cleaning; they all had individual price tags on them. This rack can sit against a wall on its own, or be hung. The rack is 15.5 tall x 11 wide x 2 deep. Vintage ceramic spice set. Bottom stamped: Japan. Cork stoppers, (one stopper is missing). Very cute set; black stripes; wood rack. Flaws: there are some little rough spots/flea specks mainly along upper front rims; one small chip on backside edge of Paprika jar; and one dark spot on top of the salt shaker. No cracks, displays fine. You could touch up the tiny rough spots with black paint. Jars are 3.75 tall; rack is 4.25 tall x 8 wide x 2.5 deep.

These cute Christmas holly girl ceramic figures are salt and pepper shakers. They're 4-1/4 inches high and wear dresses made of holly leaves and red berries, holly bows in their blond hair. Each holds a big red poinsettia flower marked S and P. They're in excellent condition and have never held salt or pepper. There are no marks or labels but based on the plastic stoppers, I believe they were made in Japan or Taiwan in the 1970s or 1980s.

Vintage, brass salt and pepper shaker set. Scarce set of a Native American Indian Chief bust and drum with eagle symbol. Very nicely detailed! Marked Japan. Has cork stoppers, though not the original ones. Indian Chief: 1 7/8 inches tall; 1 1/2 inches long by 1 inch wide. Drum: 1 3/4 inches tall; 1 1/4 inches wide. Circa: Mid 20th Century. Condition: Some discoloration. Drum with patches of corrosion, especially on the top, and some on the bottom. See photos.

Vintage spice cabinet with 16 glass spice jars. This is an older cabinet that I spray painted. I don't think it was ever used; the jars were empty and in like new condition. The wood rack likely dates to the 60's-70's, and I base that on the fact that it had a metal eagle shield emblem on the top front which I removed, see pics 4-5. It is now in the bottom drawer if you want to re-apply it. There are 3 pinholes where it gets nailed in. If you don't want to add it, then stencil something over that area or put a decal, or something else. You can buy cute little birdhouses, etc. at a crafts store and glue them on. I like to paint these older racks in a dark color; then you can repaint in a lighter color and sand off the edges to give it a distressed country look. Or, you can just spray it another color, or leave as is! This rack is freestanding or can be hung. It is 15.75 tall x 15 wide x 3 deep. Large vintage spice rack and jars. 24 glass jars; 12 have labels on them. The jars were removed from other racks; some had spices in them which have been dumped out. I did not run them through the dishwasher but did rinse them. You could do a more thorough cleaning on them and replace the labels with something more stylish. A set of round, dark green pottery salt and pepper shakers. I think they may be from the Red Wing Pottery Co. but are unmarked. Stand just 1.25 in. tall and are 2.25 in. diameter. In good, usable, displayable condition. Corks are intact but a bit brittle.

Vintage wooden cupboard. Not sure if this is a spice rack or not. It could be used as one or for sewing notions, odds and ends, etc. It is hand painted and is not new. It is all wood, not pressed wood or cork board. It stands 26 inches tall x 5 wide x 4 deep. It has an eyehole for hanging or can just stand on its own. The only flaw is a tiny gouge near top pointed area above eyehole. It is a very neat item that has a variety of uses! Good for a country or primitive style room. 12/12scsr

Vintage Kamco USA spice set w/original box. The box has old State abbreviations on it: 'Factories in Wincester, Mass., and East Hampton, Conn., Kamco Industries Inc.' When is the last time you saw anything made in the USA? There are 18 glass spice jars with sifters and labels. The labels read on the back: Kamco, N.Y., so N.Y. must have been the main office. The jars were full to the top of spices when obtained; the spices were dumped out since they must be really old. The jars do not appear to have been used, and are almost 4 inches tall.
