Offered is an early Gas Light Globe with Arm. The ball-like Globe measures about 6 in height from bottom to top of cap. Diameter across the bottom is 2 1/2 . The bottom 1/3 portion is frosted. One of the little clips to the Cap has a seperation but the Cap still serves it function to hold on to the top portion of the Globe. The Arm is close to 9 in length and can rotate. It could very well be the Arm for the Globe but the tip end of the Arm that attachs to the top of the Globe fits very tightly. I could not get it to go all the way down so it would be flush to the top of the Cap. Perhaps an adjustment just needs to be made or the tip can be changed. Probably those of you who deal or collect these would know. Anyhow your purchasing everything as you see it. If you have additional questions or need more photos please ask in advance. Buyer to pay shipping and insurance will be included.

Petite Rib Optic Smoke Gray Hanging Glass Swag Lamp
This elegant Mid Century swag style hanging glass pendant lamp has a smoke-gray colored round globe shade in a smaller size, 8 inches diameter. With the decorative cast metal cap and finial, the lamp is about 15 inches long. The chained cord is more than 13 feet long and has an on-off switch near the end. The plug is the old-fashioned non-polarized type. The plastic-wrapped electrical cord is slightly dirty, nothing serious, but you may wish to replace it and the plug with a more modern cord for safety. Otherwise the lamp is in excellent condition and works fine as you can see.

It measures about 22 inches long from the top hanging loop to the lower finial of the cast metal cap, the glass shade is 12 inches long by about 7-3/4 diameter at the upper shoulder. The glass is not flashed or stained but green colored throughout, and is in excellent condition with no chips, flakes, cracks or scratches. The 14-plus foot chained cord has a Bakelite on/off switch near the old fashioned non-polarized plug. Vintage Porcelier Wall Floral Light Fixture, Scone Or Mount
Beautiful Vintage Porcelain Wall Light Fixture, Scone or Mount. This piece has lovely floral pattern and mounts on the side of a wall, perfect for a hall or bathroom. It was made by Porcelier Manufacturing Company, Porcelier first opened their doors at a site in East Liverpool, Ohio in 1927, they moved their operations to South Greensburg, Pennsylvania in 1930. Unfortunately, The increased use of plastic as a cheap manufacturing material would eventually replace the more costly porcelain in the house wares market and Porcelier was forced to close their doors in 1954 when their factory was purchased by Pittsburgh Plate. During their 27 years in business, Porcelier made a wide range of porcelain household goods, everything from electric waffle irons to light fixtures to tea cups, and their products are highly collectible today. This fixture has the original wiring mount but the electrical socket and wiring will need to be added, it has the original paper label from the Porcelier company on the back and is in excellent condition, the inside of the fixture does have a rough finish where it mounts to the wall, however, this the way they made these old fixtures. It is 6 1/4 tall and 4 1/2 across the widest part, fixture extends about 5 out from the wall. It would be perfect for restoring an older home or be a delightful addition to a modern home!

This heavy glass kerosene/hurricane lamp stands 20 inches tall from the base to the top of the chimney. The base is decorated in a vine, flower and scroll motif, and there are two offset seams on both the font and the base. The brass burner is marked Eagle and does show age darkening and wear, but the knob to raise and lower the wick works well. Underneath the burner unit is a brass collar at the top of the lamp font. Newer lamps were made without a brass collar, so this would indicate an earlier manufacturing date, likely 1930's or earlier. The clear chimney is also heavy glass, measures 8 1/2 inches tall and has a beaded/seeded decoration around the top of the rim, but we do not know if it is the original globe. There are no cracks or chips on this hurricane lamp, but there are a few rough spots that you can feel with your hand. The dial/thumb wheel at the end of the stem is stamped, P&A Mfg. Co, Thomaston, Conn USA. This hurricane lamp is a wonderful example of an earlier time that can be functional as well as attractive, and is in very good vintage condition. Due to size and weight, recommended shipping method would be through UPS Ground Insured. Please email us for a shipping quote on this item.
