Large antique grain measure. Really attractive wooden grain measure with metal handles and rims. Insised mark on one side C 15 DRY 1/2 BU, (1/2 bushel). It has one minor split near top of one of the handles and one of bottom metal straps is almost rusted through. It is 14 wide x 8 tall. On interior bottom there appears to be a stamp mark but it is very worn out; I think it reads: Troy N.Y., but it is very worn and I really cannot be sure. It's a great looking primitive. Price is firm. 8/08est#2158
