A Time Remembered

Circa: 1950
Condition: Used
Manufacturer: L.E.Smith Glass Company/Made in USA
This lovely yellow clear to frosted glass bon bon dish with a hand painted floral design and applied handles was made by the L.E.Smith Glass Company.
L.E.Smith began producing colored glass in the mid 1920's. Pink, green, amber, yellow, amethyst and cobalt were being made as early as 1926. But in the late 1920's, Smith Glass hit upon a formula for black glass that set it apart from other manufacturers of the time. In 2005, Smith Glass was purchased by William Kelman. Through hard work and a commitment to quality, they have withstood the test of time.
Painted on both ends are orange and red flowers with green leaves and 4 small orange flowers inbetween, quite eye catching and an addition to any Yellow Glass Collection.
In very good condition without chips, cracks or fleabites, some of the flowers show age wear, which I have shown in my pictures, and it measures 1 3/4 inches high, 9 3/4 inches by 10 1/8 inches.
An addition to any L.E.Smith Glass Collection.
SH & Ins. will be quoted after orders placed. If you have any questions feel free to contact me and thank you for looking.
