Stamp Boxes

Vintage wood printer's box and 5 neat pewter miniature figurines. First is the box which can fit into most bookcases or hutches horizontally. It can also be hung vertically. It can be painted to match a room and is a cool item to display small collectibles like pewter, shells, marbles, souvineers, etc. It is 16.5 x 10.75 x 1.25. The minis are a fawn, a rabbit, two kittens in a basket, a pelican, and a penguin. There is a 'pewter' mark on the pelican but I cannot find a mark on the others so they could be a different metal but they look like pewter. There appears to be one small interior wood slat missing which may have been removed purposefully in order to enlarge one of the spaces; you can leave as is or put a small slat in there. 4/13vscs

Patented antique tole painted notary public stamper. The patent is on bottom side rim edge: 'Pat. Feb. 13, 1900' Original black paint with gold leaves and some red paint near lever. The embossed stamp reads: Ralph S. Moore, Notary Public, Wayne County, Mich. Apparently Ralph was Mayor of Muskegon for one term way back when if it is the same Ralph. This item is in good antique condition and stands 11 tall x 6 long x 2.25 wide. It has an eyehole on one end, probably to screw it onto something in order to keep it from moving when the lever is pushed down. A one of a kind unique antique! 2/10csbr

Antique Hamilton printer's drawer. Really nice old printer's box; very long. Has metal plates with numbers along it. Tag on one side says Hamilton Mfg. Co., Steelgoods - Woodgoods. These are hang on a wall over a breakfront, chest, etc. to display thimbles, wades, marbles, rocks, pewter minis, etc. You can leave as is or paint it any color you want. This one is 10 tall x 18 wide x 2 deep. 5/09csgs
