If you are using the automated
credit processing system, you probably do NOT need to know the customer's
credit card number at all. In any case, the customer's credit
card number appears on your order documents, but only once!
For security reasons, after the first time you've printed the information,
the credit card number is replaced with asterisks like this
"1234********1234". If you're seeing this and you need to
know the number, please contact customer service -- they will probably be
able to reset it for you.
Go to your Members Pages
(http://www.TIAS.com.com/members/). If your members page
is not currently displayed, click this link Members Pages
to open it in a new window so you can toggle back and forth between
your maintenance page and this tutorial.
Click on the option for orders and billing management.
At top of the page, you'll see a selector where you
can enter an order number:
Click the selector for 'order #', enter the order number
in the input box and click 'Display'. Order numbers are not always
memorable and if the customer calls you on the phone and does not know
their order number, all is not lost! You can also use the invoice
number that appears on your customer documents if you are printing
invoices, the customer's name, email or even their zip code.
The report shows the order overview
for each order selectedl:
Click on the check box to the far rightlabeled 'print'
and on the 'Print' button at the bottom of the page. This will
print your file copy of the order and the pick ticket/invoice
form. These are documents that you can use for your
files and with your shipment to the customer. When the page
launches, the system will present you with a standard printer
management dialog box and ask if you want to print the file. If
you want your printed copies, simply respond 'yes'. The
documents that are produced use the logo from your site as the
letterhead logo and if you have a color printer, the results can be
