When Your Customer Uses the Contacts Page

The contacts page allows your customer to ask questions.  There are two versions -- a general one for your store and one that's very specific to individual items.

Why not just use email?

As part of our effort to stem the rising tide of porn and get-rich-quick schemes, we've removed all email addresses from the system and put contact forms with buttons that say 'ask a question'.  People can easily use these links, but (because the communication runs through the host computer rather than going directly to your email address) the email-address-snatching spiders of the spam merchants cannot.

If you want to add text at the top of these pages (perhaps you want to make it clear that you do not do appraisals), you can do so in your site customization on your site maintenance menu.
