Vintage McCoy Pottery Koala bear cookie jar. c:1953. Being sold as a collectible vintage item and not for food use. Very cool old cookie jar! The colors go with some of the McCoy tea sets. This jar is 9 inches tall up to the toadstool on the lid. The front display side is fine, there are 2 gouges on the lid, but they are under the glaze; typical Mcflaws. On the back edge of lid rim is a small fleabite, photo #7, (dot it with matching paint if you must); and one bigger chip off the underside of lid rim; photo #7. Neither of those flaws are visible from front display side since the lid only fits one way. Raised McCoy USA mark on the bottom. This is one of my McCoy favorites! Price reduced for the flaws. You'd pay around $220 at a live auction in far worse condition! 2/16
