A straight razor or hair trimmer, the Durham Demonstrator. It is marked, Made in U.S.A. and Pat. U.S.A. May 28, '07 and Foreign Countries. It comes complete with the replaceable blade and a composition handle. In good, used condition with slight rust on the blade.
A celluloid folding shaving mirror, made in a tortoise shell pattern. This vintage mirror folds for storage to 2 ¼ tall. When opened for use it is 5 ½ across by 8 ½ deep by 7 tall. It comes with the original milk glass bowl, which is in perfect condition. The celluloid is free from cracks, just some minor scratches and wear to the bottom and very slight roughness to the edges from use. The mirror is in good condition, with no breaks but there is a half arch marked on the surface, from being closed all these years and resting on the bowl. The hinges have a little surface rust on them, but they all work very well. A very nice example of a vintage mirror.
A Victorian moustache cup (the lip inside the rim prevents a gentleman's moustache from trailing in the tea). It has a pair of bluebirds amongst flowers on the front, with the motto Think of Me in gold. Made in Germany. Measures 8cm (3 inches) high, and 9.5cm (3.3/4 inches) diameter, not including the handle. It has one small rim chip (not in the area designed for drinking). There is the usual wear to the gilding on the rim. Otherwise very good condition.
Barbers Bottle - Keen - Lay Hair Dressing and Tonic, The Big Six Laboratories, Inc., Charlotte, N.C. Clear glass bottle has a paper label and a black painted metal cap. The bottom of the bottle is embossed with a 1 and 3070. Bottle is 7 1/4 tall and 2 1/4 in diameter at the bottom. Vintage Charlotte North Carolina advertising bottle is in nice condition. The paper label has wear, with great graphics.
Advertising Barber Product - Seaforth! GroomStick Solid Shave Lotion. Groom stick held 2 ounces and is in a glass jar with a bakelite type plastic black screw on lid. Jar measures 4 high and 2 in diameter. Distributed by A D McKelvy Co., New York, NY. Vintage with good graphics and in very nice condition.
Straight Razor dating from the late 19th to the early 20th century. These razors were typically made of high quality steel with handles made of bakolite, celluloid, bone, ivory, horn and shell. This one looks to be white celluloid or bakolite and has a plain handle and 'Top Flight' etched in the blade. There are some nicks, discolorations and rust which is typical for a razor this old. A moustache cup, a souvenir from New Spa, Bridlington. Shows the beach with breakwaters, and promenade. Would date from Edwardian period (circa 1901-1910). Pink lustre glaze to body of mug, which is white porcelain. (The pink is fading - and gilding has nearly all gone). Measures 7.5cm high (3 inches). One small chip in rim, over moustache shelf area, and a body mark (firing fault), all shown in the photos. Bears the back stamp (S under blue crown) of P. Donath, of Tiefenfurt (Silesia).

The BRASS GILETTE RAZOR carries the GILETTE MARK and MADE in USA on the underside of the head of the razor. It also has the words PATENT DATE of JANUARY 13TH, 1920 USA OTHER PATENTS PENDING on the base of the handle. The CELLULOID SHAVING HAND MIRROR is just the right size. The length is 7 1/2 inches and the widest point is 5 1/2 inches. The color is yellow. The SHAVING MUG is in VERY GOOD CONDITION. The GILETTE RAZOR is in USED CONDITION and shows wear. The HAND MIRROR is in USED CONDITION. The MIRROR shows AGE. The CELLULOID has USEAGE MARKS and a patina.
