Wonderful! Dated 1908, 6 1/2 x 4 1/2 , very good, some very nice art.

Beautiful Antique Tintype photo in an Ornate Gold Frame with Flowers all around it and a glass front. The Picture inside is an old Gentleman in an Edwardian looking Suit. There is a Gold Wire Frame that I am not sure is original to the picture but it goes nicely with it. The picture is 2 1/2 inches tall and 2 inches wide. The Stand is 4 1/2 inches.

This vintage porcelain creamer featuring Buster Brown and his sister Mary Jane was made in Germany by the Altenburg China Company and is marked: #141/420/23 / Altenburg China / Germany and has his name on the side. 2004 marked the 100th birthday of the popular children's shoe brand made famous by a mischievous boy and his faithful dog. Based on the popular Buster Brown and Tige comic strip characters, Buster Brown shoes debuted at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. In the decades that followed, the brand became a marketing pioneer, using character appearances, radio and television sponsorships, gifts with purchase, and clever advertising to build loyalty among generations of Buster Brown customers. Buster Brown, his sister Mary Jane, and his dog Tige, an American Pit Bull Terrier, were well known to the American public. Tige is thought to be the first talking pet to appear in American comics, and, like that of many of his successors, his speech goes unnoticed by adults. Today, Buster Brown's motto Kids only. Fun. retains the brand's enduring, fun-loving spirit. In very good + condition, without chips, cracks or fleabites it does have some gold trim wear around the spout as I have shown in my pictures and it measures 3 1/2 inches tall, 3 3/8 inches spout to handle and 1 3/4 inches across the base. How do you decide which 122 photographs to print in a special edition of Life Magazine called Classic Faces? There are famous people from the Old Hollywood - Rita Hayworth, Greta Garbo, Mickey Rooney, and Lucille Ball. There's even royalty, as Queen Elizabeth of England sits for a portrait painting. Then there are new era stars - like the late Janis Joplin and Jack Nicholson dressed as The Joker in Batman. Surprisingly, it isn't only about celebrity - everyday citizens, made their way into some of the pictures. There are photos that show anguish and grief - the Arlington National Cemetery funeral for the first soldier killed during the Gulf War, a nurse serving in Vietnam holding a malnourished and sick child, Palestinian immigrants, and Cuban nationals on the streets of Havana after the failed Bay of Pigs invasion. And there are the joyful pictures - Amish girls, having removed their socks and overshoes, playing in mud puddles after a rain storm and a picture of a young boy who has chicken feet hands (with red nail polish) surrounding his face. Have to see this for yourself! This special Life edition was published in 1991 by Macmillan, and the commentary by John Loengard is succinct and informational. The majority of the pictures are black and white, and the magazine is in very good vintage condition. There is some minor wear to the cover, but there are no tears, rips, or markings to any of the 96 pages.

Funky, but cute, whale salt and pepper shakers sold as souvenirs at the old Marineland of the Pacific Park. One cork stopper is missing. 4 inches long. Marineland was a public oceanarium and tourist attraction located in Palos Verdes, California, west of Los Angeles. It was open between 1954 to 1987. Shipping hint: due to the light weight of this shakers, First Class mail may be cheaper than Parcel Post!

This is a marvelous silhouette print on glass for anyone who is a Humphrey Bogart fan. Done in the style of some of his classic black and white films, this framed print captures that old time Hollywood look. The total framed size is 14 1/4 x 11 1/4 inches with the Bogart figure measuring 11 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches. In a black and silver silhouette, the Bogart figure here is reminiscent of those film noir/tough guy roles he starred in such as The Maltese Falcon and The Treasure of Sierra Madre. There is some wear and scuffing to the vintage frame, but over-all this unique glass print would be a great addition to any movie buff's décor.

Made by S.C. Richard, c. 1920. Heavily reticulated 8 ¾ pottery plate with a high glaze. Fine gold line decoration surrounds the bust portrait and the rectangular reticulated sections. These lines are washed out and spotty around the left side of the portrait and washed out between some of the rectangles.A fine surface hairline exists on one of the edge points. Collection of Royalty items which include: Souvenir Program of the Coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth and a Souvenir Hanky as well held on May 12, 1937. Program has 36 pages filled with info and photos about the families. Has a wax paper cover which isn't in the best of shape. Is missing one of it's inside flap edges. Measures roughly 8 1/2 x 11 . The other piece is illustrated Souvenir Booklet of the Birmingham Centenary Celebrations held at Aston Park from July 11 to 16 in 1938. 32 pages with info pertaining to event. Souvenir Program from the Stoke-On-Trent Historical Pageant and the Josiah Wedgwood Bicentenary Celebrations held from May 19-24, 1930. There's no page numbers but I did a quick count and there looks to be around 120 pages. Filled with all sorts of info and photos of these events and includes ads as well. Measues about 7 x 9 1/2 . Published by Herman Jaffe, New York, this 23 page petite Benjamin Franklin Album printed in 1955 was presented to some corporations for their employees. Stamped on the backside of this booklet is: Made available to the men and women of the Flying Red Horse Companies by the Socony Mobil Employee Information Service. The 50's was an era of give-aways, from glassware in movie theaters and gas stations, to dinnerware, souvenir cards and the like. These pamphlets were also given to employees of Western Electric, Acme Markets, and others. This little gem of a booklet, with no damage issues, also has small black and white inset photos on each page, and many memorable Ben Franklin quotes.

Collection of Barber Licenses from the State of Ohio. All of these were issued to the same Gentleman beginning in 1934 and ending in '48. Just realized it, but the photo provided doesn't show one License. These measure about 6 x 3 ½. Some are a little more soiled then others. Would be a nice addition to one's Barber collection. You can almost hear the laughter of children in this high relief detailed plate, entitled Leapfrog. Inspired from the June 28, 1919, cover of the Saturday Evening Post, this fine china plate measures about 7.5 inches in diameter. The back is marked Norman Rockwell 1979, First Limited Edition Annual Plate, Leapfrog, Dave Gross Designs, Inc. © Saturday Evening Post, Inc., 1979. The back has two holes to allow for hanging this hand painted plate. No chips or cracks. This first edition plate is in Excellent condition.

Taken from the Marx Brothers lobby card promotion for the 1939 MGM movie, At The Circus, this 11 1/4 x 14 1/2 inch reverse print on glass captures just the right look for Groucho, Harpo, and Chico. The reverse print is on a mirrored surface. In order not to pick up any reflections from objects in the room, a white backdrop was used to block those reflections. The background shows as white in our pictures. This is a unique piece of vintage film memorabilia. We could find no other Marx Brothers glass print in our internet search. We do not know the date of production, but judge it to be somewhere in the 50's/60's time frame. We do note some scuffing and age-related wear to the wooden frame, and minor glass chips in the upper left corner and the lower right-hand corner. The original wire hanger on the backside was corroding, so we have replaced that with a bracket. Here's an opportunity to own a marvelous reverse glass print of one of the best comedy trios to hit the movie screen.

Haram es-Sharif (Noble Sanctuary) is the religious center for Muslims in the Middle East, second only to Mecca. This 101 page booklet which describes the origins of this Noble Sanctuary, speaks of its magnificent construction, and features numerous black and white illustrations, was published by the Supreme AWQAF Council in 1962. Covering one-sixth of the area within the walls of Jerusalem, the two main buildings are the Dome of the Rock and the Aqsa Mosque. Seems difficult to imagine that this first example of Arabic architecture is more than 1300 years old - with construction beginning in 685 A.D, and its completion in 691 A.D. The vintage booklet/guide has a sturdy soft cover, with the note that something stuck to the cover at one point, and both the printing and top surface are missing from that area. Please see our pictures. Over-all the booklet is in fine condition, with age related yellowing of pages, but no rips, tears, or markings. There was also a tear-off section to the back cover - all other guides we have seen were missing that portion, as well.

This is a hard-to-find and unique advertising memorabilia. A drinking and measuring 1 cup/8 ounce glass with fashion colors. Issued by Frigidaire appliances in the 60s in the United States. This promotional measuring glass sports the Decorator Colors available in the Frigidaire appliances at this time. COLONIAL COPPER, WHITE, AVOCADO GREEN AND HARVEST GOLD. These colors are shown in wide bands across one side of the glass. These were freebies given away by the company as a promotion with new appliance purchases. This is a vintage early ca 1950s Cub Scout folding three blade pocket camp knife made by Imperial Knife; it has a black, jigged handle and a plastic diamond Cub Scout BSA shield on main blade end and smooth bolsters. The permanent shackle is on end opposite the main blade. The three blades consist of a main blade, cap lifter/flat blade combo [screwdriver blade] and an awl. Condition: blades need cleaning but do open easily; if you have any questions regarding condition or need additional images, please contact me. Vintage 1908 souvenir from Parker Public School, Cherokee Twp., Montgomery County, Kansas. Has class roster, actual photo of the teacher Clara Taylor on the front, wonderful poem inside and excellent graphics. May 9th, 1945 is known as Victory Day, and Victory in Europe Day (and VE Day). It's a day that many millions of people around the world remember well. This set of Racing Champions Die Cast cars is 1 of 5,000, 50Th anniversary Nascar, 1998 Daytona at the peed of Light 1:24 Scale Pontiac Grand Prix run at the Pepsi 400 on October 17, 1998. One car is the original has the color scheme and the other is a gold chrome color Pontiac Grand Prix. Included is the Certificate of Authenticity #2975.

White on white raised border design of grapes, leaves and vines enhance this 1949, 9 3/4 inch in diameter First Presbyterian commemorative plate. The center inset portion of the plate has a finely detailed black line rendering of the church which is located in Bath, New York. Founded in 1808, this Presbyterian church was actually the first church established in the town of Bath. Church services were held in the court house until the construction of the church building was completed in 1825. In its more than 200 year history, the church has undergone expansions and additions, and recently had its Louis Comfort Tiffany stained glass and lighting fixtures in the sanctuary and towers restored by an Iowa company. The Homer Laughlin stamp under the base, states Eggshell, Theme - K 49 N , and a second stamp carries the name of the Decorated Ceramics company of Cincinnati, Ohio, which completed the HLC blank. The plate is in excellent condition, without damage issues or loss of color to the print. Having been tucked away for many years, and now ready for display with the wooden stand we are providing.

A terrific oldie, but goodie probably from the 1950's or earlier is this commemorative UNC mug/stein that stands 5 1/4 inches tall, measures 3 inches across the top, and has a 4 inch wide base. Ceramic with a wood look appearance, it was constructed so that the thick roping is inset into the mug, not just resting on the top surface. The sturdy rope handle has three copper bands in place. The gold university crest/shield on the front of the mug has UNC Lux and Libertas printed on the design. There are two blue colored stains on the interior bottom under the glaze, occurring during manufacture and a small brown streak which probably happened over time from crazing. Very faint impression under the base appears to read, Made in USA but no manufacturer name.
