    This is a Carlton Ware, England caricature mug made by for a combination of the royal engagement of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer and the publishing of a book by Clive James titled Charles Charming's Challenges On The Pathway Of The Throne. The bone china mug has a drawing by Marc in black on white and the handle is a figural ear. The mug measures 3.5 inches high by 3 inches in diameter with a quote from the book on the back. The mug is in excellent, mint condition with no chips, cracks or wear. An outstanding and different item of royal memorabilia from a wonderful manufacturer.

    This is a very pretty mug made for the royal wedding in 1981 of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer by Royal Worcester, England. The purple decorated bone china mug is in it's original box. The mug measures 3.65 inches high by 3 inches in diameter and features, in purple on white, a dedication, the Prince Of Wales coat of arms, St. Paul's cathedral and gold trim. The mug is in excellent, mint condition with no chips, cracks or wear and the box is in very good condition with 1 internal bent cardboard corner corner and a few rubs. An outstanding and different item of royal memorabilia from a wonderful manufacturer.

    This is a very unusual British royal commemorative item made for the royal wedding in 1981 of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer by Royal Worcester, England. The item is a shortbread baking dish in it's original box that measures 1 inch high by 7 inches in diameter and features reeded sides, a dedication , the Prince Of Wales Plumes and gold trim. The dish is in excellent, mint condition with no chips, cracks or wear and the box is in very good condition with 1 split corner and a few rubs. All in all an outstanding and different item of royal memorabilia.

    1901 Minton Secessionist Ware Tankard - King Edward Vii
    1901 MINTON'S SECESSIONIST WARE (1st PERIOD) TANKARD FOR THE ACCESSION TO THE THRONE OF KING EDWARD VII. A rarely available mug/tankard. Leon Solon was hired by Minton's in 1895 after his work was published in The Studio an important design magazine. His early work at Minton's Staffordshire Factory was influenced by the Viennese Secessionist art movement, founded by Gustav Klimt and others and became known as Secessionist ware. Age crazing with resulting dscoloring mostly under the base. No chips, cracks or restoration ans is considered in good condition. See all pictures.

    Royal Wedding Plate Charles Diana Wedgwood Jasper Large Mib
    This is a large Wedgwood, England blue jasper or jasperware plate made in 1981 to commemorate the royal wedding of Prince Charles of England and Lady Diana Spencer in the original box. The plate measures 8 inches in diameter and besides the usual impressed Wedgwood marks has a gold dedication on the back. The plate is in excellent, mint condition and is a very collectible piece of royal memorabilia.

    Queen Elizabeth Ii Coronation Program England 1953 Original Programme
    This is a wonderful piece of royal memorabilia. This is a program from the Coronation on June 2, 1953 Of Queen Elizabeth II of England. The program measures 9.75 inches high and is 7 inches wide when closed. The programme has 40 pages. The last page is the genealogy of Queen Elizabeth II from 1066 and William the Conqueror. The program has a cover of embossed card stock and includes formal portraits, family photos, the crown jewels, a map of the route, a list of the procession participants that covers 11 pages, the entire service and interesting articles on the coronation and history of coronation elements. The program or programme is in excellent condition...perhaps the best I have had. The price on the cover is 2'6. A wonderful royal souvenir, hard to find especially in this condition and very collectible. In an archival sleeve.

    Louis-napoleon Bonparte (Napoleon Iii) Plate
    NAPOLEON III - Rare mid 19th century plate. Louis-Napoléon Bonaparte (1808 - 1873) Elected President by popular vote in 1848, he initiated a coup d'état in 1851, before ascending the throne As Napoleon III in 1852 and ruled as Emperor of the French until 1870. He was the son of Napoleon I's brother and liked to proclaim that he was his uncle's nephew. There is a 1cm x 2cm chip (lower right front) which is not immediately obvious in the design. Otherwise in good condition with very light age crazing.

    Tin Box Queen Elizabeth Ii Coronation Thorne's Chocolates Tea Tin
    This is a wonderful lithographed tin box commemorating the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II of England in 1953. The lidded box was made for Thorne's Chocolates and the quality is superb. The design features one of my favorite approved photographs of Queen Elizabeth, with a yellow surround and the sides feature the Queen's cipher as well as Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey where she was crowned. The hinge lidded tin is 2.75 inches high by 5.5 inches square. The royal memorabilia set is in near excellent condition with no dents, the mildest tiny signs of use and one scuff line, not even a scratch through the paint, on the hair which looks more prominent than it is. She has gold highlights on her hair, but there is a 1/2 inch long scuff or depression in the paint which looks grey. A lovely tin for an historic occasion that can be used for so many things. As a biscuit tin, tea tin, sewing box or to hold anything. From an English royal memorabilia collection we acquired recently.

    Scarf Coronation Queen Elizabeth Ii 1953 Crown Flags
    This is a wonderful vintage printed head scarf, or perhaps a large handkerchief, made to commemorate the coronation in 1953 of Queen Elizabeth II, England. The scarf, which is made of fine, picot hemmed cotton lawn, is 17.75 inches square and features a wonderful full color design of crown, scepters and all the flags of the British Commonwealth of Nations at the time. The scarf is in excellent condition. A wonderful royal souvenir from an English collection of British Royal memorabilia we acquired recently.

    Loving Cup Queen Elizabeth Golden Jubilee 2002 England 2 Handles Mug
    This is an English bone china souvenir loving cup to commemorate the Golden Jubilee in 2002 of the 50 year reign of Queen Elizabeth II of England. The 2 handled mug was made by Royal Burlington, England and measures 3.25 inches high by 5.5 inches wide across the handles by 3.25 inches in diameter with gold trim. The loving cup features a color photo of Queen Elizabeth in the center of her coat of arms with lots of gold and dedication. The Queen's cipher with crown and further dedication ribbon is on the back. A great souvenir of the Golden jubilee 1952-2002.

    An unusual Silver Jubilee 1952-1977 stoneware plate. The rear has the impressed marks 'J.H.(Probably Janet Hamer) and 'Ponthir' (A town in south east Wales). In good condition with a little loss of color (lower left). No chips or cracks.

    Table Cloth Edward Viii Coronation Abdicated England Rare Bridge Cloth
    This is a very rarely seen souvenir tablecloth, table cloth or bridge cloth made to commemorate the coronation of King Edward VIII of England on May 12, 1937. The coronation never happened because Edward abdicated the throne in order to marry American divorcee Wallis Simpson. The table cloth measures 42 inches by 42 inches and is made, I believe of linen and cotton and features a printed portait of the king who was never crowned surrounded by his initials and the date of the coronation that never happened, with the color decorations of crowns, orbs and staffs or scepters. The table cloth is in near excellent condition with no tears, mends or wear, and still has the slightly stiff hand and slightly polished or shiny surface on the seams. There are 2-3 pinpoint sepia spots and possibly a slight discoloring to an ivory color if it was originally white, or the ivory may be it's original color. A wonderful piece of Edward V!!! memorabilia, and the only one I have had in the 30 years I've been handling British Royal memorabilia. A beautiful and historic piece that beside being collectible can be used...carefully, I hope!

    Princess Margaret Wedding Programme Program 1960 Snowdon
    This is a programme or program for the Royal Wedding of the Princess Margareth, late younger sister of Queen Elizabeth II, and Anthony Armstrong-Jones who became Lord Snowdon in Westminster Cathedral on May 6th, 1960. The softcover book measures 9.75 inches high by 7 inches wide and has 32 pages which include biographical notes, photos taken by the groom who was an outstanding photographer and favorite of the royal family, a map of the route and a complete list of the participants in order of precedence. The programme or program also includes the complete words of the marriage ceremony. A unique piece of British Royal Memorabilia. The program is in very good +++ condition with some cover age discoloration and slight creases to the upper and lower left hand corners. We are including an archival sleeve.

    This is a bone china cup and saucer commemorating the birth of their first child, Prince William in 1982 to his parents Prince Charles and Princess Diana of England. The cup is 3 inches high, the saucer is 5.5 inches in diameter and the cup and saucer were made by Duchess China, England. The design is a very nice approved one with a dedication on the back and gold trim. The royal commemorative cup and saucer is in excellent, mint condition and a wonderful collectible for the future king.

    King Edward Viii Coronation Cup Mug Abdicated Beaker 1937
    This is a beaker, cup or mug made to commemorate the coronation in 1937 of King Edward VIII. Edward VIII was never crowned be cause he abdicated to marry American divorcee Wallis Simpson. Edward VIII was the uncle of the Queen Elizabeth II. The ceramic cup or beaker is 4.5 high by 3 inches in diameter at the top an features a color profile of Edward VII with dedication and color surround and his cipher on the reverse. The beaker or cup was made by Myott, England as part of the British Pottery Manufacturers Federation. The cup, beaker mug is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There is a bit of minor crazing which is normal for this type of glaze. The graphics on this beaker are the best of this type of beaker, cup or handle less mug I have had. The beaker or cup is part of a royal memorabilia collection I recently acquired. Lovely!

    Prince Charles Lady Diana Royal Wedding Program Lady Di
    This is an original program or programme for the royal wedding on July 29, 1981 of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer of England at St. Paul's Cathedral, London. The 24 page program was available outside the church for 50 pence. The program includes participants, an introduction from the Archbishop of Cantebury, order of service and music lists and contains color photos of the bride and groom in casual and formal dress. The program measures 8.5 inches high and is 5.75 inches wide closed. It has the Prince of Wales crest on the cover. The program is in very good ++ condition except slight yellowing of the cover, one mild spot on the bottom corner of the cover and some light water staining in the corner of the pages as seen in the photo.

    Butter Pat Queen Elizabeth Ii Coronation 1953 Victoria Bc
    This is a square ceramic butter pat made to be sold in Victoria, B. C. Canada for the coronation in 1953 of Queen Elizabeth II of England. The 4 inch square dish features the Anthony Armstrong-Jones lovely photograph of Queen Elizabeth for the coronation which is one of my favorites. The square butter pat, which can also be used as a teabag caddy, has besides metallic gold trim the words Victoria, BC at the top and Stelck's at the bottom. I know that the name Stelck is prominent in Victoria, but I don't know how they used the butter pat. The butter dish was made by Lancaster and Sandland, England and has the impressed mark of Butter 562. The butter pat or tea bag holder is in very good +++ condition with no chips, cracks or gold wear. A wonderful souvenir.

    1848 Children Of Queen Victoria 'royal Children' Jug.
    c.1848 flow blue jug titled 'Royal Children' with raised relief of 2 of Queen Victoria's children - Prince Alfred dressed as AUTUMN The Seasons which the royal children performed in 1848 at Osborne House for Queen Victoria. Queen Victoria was apparently so overwhelmed by the beauty of the children that she commanded the notable sculptress Mary Thornycroft to create life-sized statutes of the Prince and Princess in their seasonal costumes. and it can still be seen at Osborne House on the Isle of Wight. For a similar jugs see Victoria Remembered p.117 by John May, British Commemoratives p.76 by Sir Lincoln Hallinan and British Royalty Commemoratives p.187 by Flynn/Bolton. A little wear to the glaze. The luster is very good except a small loss to the rim. Usual age crazing and discoloring. On the whole in good condition. See all pictures.

    This jug or pitcher was created by Masons, England to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of King George V and Queen Mary of England in 1935 who were the grandparents of Queen Elizabeth II. The pitcher or jug is 5 inches high and 3 inches in diameter and is a pale yellow ceramic with a molded profile of the king.     Queen Victoria Brass Dishes Death Of Albert 1861 Pair
    This is a pair of repousse brass dishes made in 1861 as a memorial on the death of Prince Albert, beloved husband of Queen Victoria of England. Each of the brass dishes measures each .5 inch high by 3.5 inches in diameter and could have been used as ashtrays or just ornaments. They could also function as ring holders. The head of a middle aged Queen Victoria is on one with the phrase Her Most Gracious Majesty Queen Victoria which is in excellent condition with just a mild dent to a rim. The other has a crown and funeral wreath with the words Born Aug. 20, 1819, Married Feb. 10, 1840 Died Dec. 14, 1861. Queen Victoria remained in mourning for Prince Albert until her death in 1901. This dish has several rim dents and tiny base rim dents. A rare memorial tribute to the love of Queen Victoria's life.

    Young and mature portraits on each side of the royal coat of arms with scenes of the empire. The banner reads Victoria Queen and Empress - Crowned June 24th 1837 (This date is an error. She came to the throne 20th June 1837 and was crowned 28th June 1838) Jubilee Year 1887. A nice plate in good condition with light age crazing and a small glaze separation on the back probably from the time of manufacture.

    This is a cup and saucer made for the coronation in 1937 of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth of England, parents of Queen Elizabeth II. The cup and saucer were made by Morley Fox, England. The cup and saucer features color profiles of the king and queen surrounded by flags and royal symbols with the royal cipher on the back with gold trim. The cup is 2.85 inches high, the saucer is 5.65 inches in diameter and both the cup and saucer are in near mint condition with no chips, cracks or gold wear. There are a few minor utensil marks on the saucer. A really great item of British Royal Memorabilia.

    This is a British Royal Memorabilia souvenir cup and saucer made in England in 1939 to commemorate the visit to Canada of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth of England who were the parents of Queen Elizabeth II. The ceramic demitasse of espresso cup measures 2.5 inches high and has sepia portraits with color surrounding design, dedication on the back and blue trim and does the saucer which measures 4.755 in diameter. The souvenir cup and saucer is in very good ++ condition with no chips or cracks, or wear, no gold trim loss and minor crazing but there is a decal chip on the front of the cup at the bottom of the design right at the center of the ribbon which looks to have been during manufacturing as it is under the glaze. A neat souvenir by a very collectible manufacturer for an historic event.

    4 Tall coronation mug with a names picture of the HMS Rodney on the back Possibly made for the crew. HMS Rodney (1927-1946) was named for Admiral Sir George Brydges Rodney and served extensively in the Mediterranean and Atlantic during World War II. She played a major role in the sinking of the German battleship Bismarck in May 1941. In good condition with some wear to the rim gilding.

    This is a wonderful piece of royal memorabilia. This is a program from the Coronation on June 2, 1953 Of Queen Elizabeth II of England. The program measures 9.75 inches high and is 7 inches wide when closed. The programme has 40 pages, has a price of $1 and was made for the Canadian market to celebrate the coronation of their queen, and was printed in England by King George's Jubilee Trust. The last page is the genealogy of Queen Elizabeth II from 1066 and William the Conqueror. The program has a cover of embossed card stock and includes formal portraits, family photos, the crown jewels, a map of the route, a list of the procession participants that covers 11 pages, the entire service and interesting articles on the coronation and history of coronation elements. The program or programme is in near excellent condition inside with no tears, wear or dogears, whith general minor soiling on the cover and an ink stamp that says May 12 a.m. at the top and a slight small crease near one corner. A wonderful royal souvenir, hard to find and very collectible. Archival sleeve included.

    Princess Diana Kensington Palace Collection Book Cards
    This is a collection of memorabilia related to Princess Diana that I put together from a visit to her home in London, Kensington Palace in 1999, which is now the home of her son Prince William and his bride Catherine. The visit was for the Princess Diana dress collection and Mario Testino photography exhibit held after her tragic death in 1997. The group of items include 2 new and unused large sized 6.75 inches by 3.75 inches postcards, one of Princess Diana and one of the front gates of Kensington Palace, a gold faux leather credit card holder book with the embossed design of the palace gate detail that measures 4.25 inches by 3 inches and has the original palace price tag on the back and a purple gold stamped ballpoint Kensington Palace pen. The group will be shipped in a Kensington Palace plastic carrier with the palace coat of arms. A wonderful collection of royal memorabilia from one of my favorite of the palaces.

    This is a rare item of Royal memorabilia made for the royal wedding in 1981 of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer of England. The necklace is a 1 ounce English hallmarked silver ingot with the hallmarkes for Sheffield, the sterling lion, the maker RC and the year 1981 as well as stamped profiles of Charles and Di and weighs with the sterling silver chain a total of 2.1 troy ounces. On the back is an engraved commemoration with date in script. The ingot pendant measures ingot 1.65 inches long by .5 inch wide and includes a marked sterling silver 18 inch long rope chain. The commemorative ingot and chain are in excellent condition. I love finding these commemorative ingots on my last English buying trip. They are increasingly hard to find and very popular with collectors.

    This is a wonderful bracelet made from 16 silver English threepenny bits or coins dating from the reign of King George V of England dated between 1915-1935 and one from the reign of his son King George VI dated 1942. One coin is an Australian silver 3 pence coin. This covers both the world wars! The bracelet features the King's profile on the front of each coin. The bracelet measures 8.25 inches long and 1.25 inches wide and weighs 25.4 grams of silver. King George V reigned from 1911 to 1936.     This is a set of 2 etched glass goblets made in 1981 for the Royal Wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer in their original box. The goblets measure 5.75 inches high by 2.65 inches in diameter, were made in England by Dema and feature etched dedications and the Prince of Wales plumes. There is a heavy gold embossed band of symbols and heavy gold trim. The goblets are in excellent, mint condition. The box shows some wear but is in still good condition and sturdy.
