This is a very pretty pair of sugar tongs or sugar nips made in England 1920-1930 with feathered claw ends and a pretty spoon handle design. The sugar tongs are 4.5 inches long, marked FHS EPNS so are electroplated silver plate and are in excellent condition. Very collectible and a great way to drop your sugar into your tea or coffee at your next party.

This is called a Wedding Cup. Stands 8.5 in. tall and is 3.5 in. diameter. The lovely lady holds a small cup above her head on a swivel. Her skirt forms the larger cup. The idea is to each, the bride and groom to drink from the cups of their favorite beverage without spilling any of the liquid. Sometimes referred to as a Wager Cup. No markings so I can't give a makers name. Appears to be quality silverplate. Best guesstimate is it is from the '60's era or earlier. No damage.

A handsome vintage silverplate meat platter by Oneida Ltd. USA in an extra large size - 21-3/4 by 16 inches. A normal size coffee mug is in the first photo to show scale. The plain, undecorated rim will go with any silver or dinnerware service. The center has a well and tree design, to either side are open wells for holding the carved meat or vegetables. There are some minor, light surface scratches to the lower part of the tree area, nothing deep or serious. The platter has no dents or dings and no plate loss.

Preisner Sterling Silver Double Arm Candelabra Candlest
PREISNER Sterling Silver Double Arm Candelabra Candlestick. Bottom of the base has small dings. Upper is in very good condition with only minor sratches. Marked on bottom PREISNER STERLING WEIGHTED 219
This WMF Germany Modernist double candle holder is attributed to the Bauhaus industrial designer Wilhelm Wagenfeld. It comes in its original box with two unused, still wrapped ivory colored taper candles. The silverplated candlestick has a brushed and swirled pearlized finish with removable candle cups and is 12-5/8 long by 2-3/4 high. The candle holder is marked WMF E.P. Brass Germany . The box is marked only WMF-Leuchter 4889 and WMF Tafelgerat. I would assume from the design that it's from the 1950s but since there is no West or Western designation to the hallmark, it may have been produced before the post-war division of Germany. The candlestick is in excellent condition with no damage or wear, probably never used. The box condition is only fair, with a split lid corner, scuffs, a stain on one end, and tape across the center top and sides.
A set of 4 napkin rings that measure 1.5 in. diameter and are nearly 1 in. tall. Lovely inlaid pieces of abalone on a silver back marked Texco. I believe these are perhaps from Mexico and would be of Mexican silver. 2 slightly different trademarks. Please view images carefully. Very good, usable condition.
This is a large pair of sugar tongs or a pair of ice tongs with fancy claw ends in silver plate marked USAQMC for United States Army Quartermaster's Corps and the maker's mark JPNZ. The tongs probably graced an officer's table or ice bucket. The claws have great feather details and measure 6.5 inches in length. The tongs are in very good +++ condition with some plating loss on the top of the bow. Cool!
A lovely silverplate basket that stands 13 in. tall. The base measures 5.5 in. diameter. Flared top is 9.25 x 7.5 in. Intricate openwork handle. The only mark I find is HSC 5571 I will shimply wash this basket well before shipping and leave the tarnished patina for the new owner to deal with. I find no damage. I believe this could be from an earlier era than the '50's that I have stated.
This antique covered sugar has holders for 12 spoons around the circumference. The lid has a figural of a bird on the top. Marked quadruple plate and the manufacturer is too worn or light to read. Decorated with an etched vine and leaf pattern. Stands 9 in. tall and measures 8 in. diameter from handle to handle. This item has seen a lot of use and shows wear to the silverplate. could be resilvered or simply use as is and enjoy the patina. It has been in storage for many years so will simply wash it well and leave the rest to a new owner. No breaks or serious dents.

This is a neat vintage set of English silver plate EPNS sugar tongs with spoon ends that I brought home recently from England with a design of an Apostle that measure 4.25 inches long. Apostle spoons and sugar tongs were very popular 1920-1930s when these were made by an unknown maker. The sugar tongs are in very good ++ condition with a few spots of plate loss on the spoon ends. A very attractive pair.

This is a silverplated plaque that measures 4.5 in. tall and is 4 in. wide. The letters stand for Ancient Order of United Workmen. This association had a lot of Masonic attributes of a Fraternal Benefit Society. I think this may have been a plaque from a meeting room or off a door. Not sure how it was used. In good, displayable condition. Just needs a bit more cleaning and polishing. Vintage could be from the early years of the 1900's.
This vintage silverplate box has a hinged cover and still has the key to lock, unlock it. Stands 2 in. tall and is 6x6.5 in. Soft cloth lining. Needs a cleaning but is intact. Marked Derby Silverplate on the bottom. I believe this to be from the early 1940's era. There is tarnish, but will polish up nicely or leave as is and enjoy the patina. Use to store sewing, craft supplies or any treasure.

The lovely pattern consists of swirling leaves and grapes, I believe. This set weighs about 20 lbs.

Reed & Barton Embassy Square Plate or Low Bowl. This pattern was made from 1988 to 1995. This is a lovely heavy duty piece, not sure if it is a bread plate or a low bowl of some sort. It is 5 1/2 inches across and 1 1/4 inches deep, bottom has a sort of footed base. It is in lovely condition, a few light use marks, common in silver of this age, has one tiny ding, still a lovely piece. The bottom is marked with a heart, Reed & Barton, 1140, Embassy and an A in a circle. It comes from a smoke free home and would be a terrific addition to your collection!
This is a pair of silver plated sugar tongs with an art deco design with a husk border and different double spoon design ends. The sugar tongs measure 4.5 inches long and I acquired them recently in England but do not think they are of English origin but German. They are marked with Alpaka and the design of an alpaca logo. A neat way to add those sugar cubes to your tea cup.
Vintage English Sugar Tongs Elkington Silver Plate
This is a pair of vintage silver plated sugar tongs made by the famous Elkington and Company, Birmingham England and marked with their date letter for 1930. The sugar tongs measure 4.5 inches long, have spoon ends and a lovely classical design. Elkington and Company was in business from 1842 to 1968 and patented silver electroplating in 1863. They are famous for having supplied the silver for many years to the White Star Line including the Titanic. This pair of sugar tongs is in very good +++ condition with only very minor signs of use. Lovely.
3 pc. bowl set from Reed and Barton. They are all 3 stamped accordingly plus Jamestown and the numbers on each bowl are 184, 185, and 186. These items have a paper sticker on the bottom as well. They are tarnished and need cleaning but I am leaving that up to someone who knows more about doing it than I do. These are not antique but are very nice. They stack inside each. They are footed. There are no dings, dents, or other defect. Only the tarnish.

The bowl of the spoon has Uncle Tom's cabin while the handle feature three busts with scrolls and flowers. The back of the handle is imprinted W STERLING 925-1000 and in script Harriet Beecher Stowe. It weighs a little over 26 grams

This lovely vintage silverplate bowl stands 5 in. tall on 4 little feet. Measures 9.75 in. long and is 7.75 in. wide. Fantastic openwork in curvy lines. Dark patina. Bottom stamped Silverplate, Guaranteed, James W. Tufts and the logo. I was unable to get a clear image of the stamp and logo with my camera. I find no damage. James Tufts was a renowned silversmith from Massachusetts in the very early 1900's and his work is highly sought after. This is a great example of his craftsmanship.

This is a wonderful antique 800 silver sugar tongs with an ornate 3 dimensional crown finial that were made in Europe 1920-1930s possibly in Austria or the Scandanavian countries. I have been unable to find the mark. The sugar tongs measure 5 inches long, have spoon ends and barley twist legs and are in excellent condition. They are marked with a crown, 800 and what looks like a head of corn or wheat. A lovely way to drop sugar into your tea cup with distinction and elegance.

The large Malachite tear shaped bezel shaped stone is on the end of the piece It is marked on the back Sterling Silver Israel, and some other Hallmarks. It is 4 inches long, and 3/4 of an inch wide.
