This vintage footed, handled silver plated Butler's Tray still has the original label on the bottom that is marked: F B Rogers / Silver Company / Taunton, Mass. It also has the inspected by label. F. B. Rogers Silver Co. was a silversmithing company founded in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts in 1883. It was acquired by Edmund W. Porter and L.B. West, who incorporated the company and moved manufacturing operations to Taunton, Massachusetts in 1886. For several years, the company became known as West Silver Company, and was producing silver products for the William Rogers Manufacturing Company of Hartford, Connecticut. About 1904, West and Porter retired and sold the company to William Davison, Carleton A. Woodward and H.E. Nearing, who changed the company's name back to F.B. Rogers. In 1925 the company moved from 31 Winthrop Street to 59 Wales Street. In 1943 it moved to West Water Street, to a site formerly occupied by the Weir Stove Company, who produced Glenwood Ranges. In 1955, it became a division of the National Silver Company. Finely decorated with etching in the center of the tray it has a beautiful raised ornate border, often referred to as rocaille and is free of monogram's. The prior owner must have used a buffing machine to polish it and there are buff marks and light scratches as I have shown in my pictures. I used a silver cream polish and did not want to go near the label on the bottom to damage it. An exquisite piece to display any collection on. Quite heavy the tray without packing materials weighs 8 pounds. In very good condition without dings or dents it measures 1 1/2 inches high, 2 1/4 inches high to handle, 25 inches long and 14 inches wide. An addition to any Silver Plate Tray Collection. SH & Ins. will be quoted after orders placed. If you have questions please contact me and thank you for looking.

Antique Figural Napkin Ring Squirrel Silver Plate English Victorian Er
This is a victorian figural napkin ring in original condition dating to 1890-1900. It is silver plated pewter and has no maker's marks. I got it in England but I believe it to be of US origin. The design is a aesthetic movement or arts and crafts design floral engraved napkin ring perched on a branch with leaves. It is pictured in Figural Napkin Rings pg 73 by Gattschalk and Whitson. On the end of the branch against the ring is a running squirrel. It is a wonderful piece. The napkin ring as a whole measures 3.25 inches long by 2 inches high by 1.25 inches wide. A lovely example of whimsical victoriana and very collectible.

Set of 12 Silverplate Napkin Holders, or Napkin Rings, made in India. The outside is ribbed for an almost mirror ball effect when they are shined up. Two of the napkin rings are still in the original cellophane and have price tags from the Carson Pirie Scott department store. I dated the store logo to be from 1978 to 1990. The original price of these beauties was just $1.75 each. The only identifying mark on the rings is a foil Made in India. Not stamped sterling silver so I assume they are silverplate. It is unusual to find a set of these. Most are priced per piece or for 2 to 4 of them. Price shown here is for the set of 12. I did not polish them. I will leave that to the buyer.
Ornate Vintage Pyrex Silverplate Casserole Stand with Glass Pyrex Insert. The Pyrex insert is 7 1/2 by 11 3/4 by 1 3/4 inches deep. Silver-plated Place Card Holders, Velvet Box, Godinger
Offered is a black velvet box containing 4 place card holders in sterling plate. The box has Bloomingdales stamped in gold on the inside cover. The place card holders themselves are wrapped in tissue paper, and shaped like a square gift box with a gold colored ribbon. I am including a 2nd box which contains only 3 holders.
