Back when a stove was more then just a place to cook or heat the home they were very decorative. In order to keep the great look of the shinny nickel and iron you had to polish them. Vintage Renaissance Gold Baroque Electric Table Clock
Here is a clock that you will either fall in love with or you can't stand to look at it. It is really a flamboyant style of a specific era. I don't know the age of the clock but would suggest it is from the 1950's according to the clockworks, the pads on the feet, etc. It is keeping accurate time and is really a good clock. It is a heavy clock made of all metal material (might be brass covered pewter). This clock is electric and will sit nicely on any flat surface. This clock measures 11.5 inches tall by 6 inches wide and 3.5 inches deep.
Looking for an interesting clock with a little flare? This clock fits several decor scenarios. It is a little bit western, a little bit of several other styles. It is an attractively simple clock with a matching weather barometer. The clock has been converted to a battery operated clock so it doesn't use an electrical cord down the wall nor does it have to be wound with a key every week. The time can be reset and the battery can be changed by pulling off the squeeze fit rear cover. The front glass bezel opens so you can actually move the minute hand from the front to change the time if you desire. Everything is working as it should on the clock and it is ready for your enjoyment. The barometer appears to work well and is of the same hanging rope style for a great wall presentation. This clock measures 19 inches tall (to the top of the hanger while mounted on the wall) by 8.5 inches wide (total dial diameter) and 1.25 inches deep. The barometer case measures 7 inches tall by 7 inches wide with a 5 inch dial. You get both pieces for one price. They are sold as a set.

The outfit has two covers, one on each end of the case, that can be open and closed with snaps. One end is the electric cord storage for the clock and the other end is where the face of the clock can be viewed. Stamped on the bottom of the case is 'genuine cowhide'. The clock measures approximately 4 inches long by 3.5 inches wide by 3.5 inches high. This clock will take you back to another era for sure. All is in great shape and working order.
This clock is a solid wood clock. The movement is signed as being made in Germany and is a one jewel movement which is rather rare for this type of movement. The clock runs well and the movement has a speed adjustment on it so it can be tweaked if it runs fast or slow at your house. The colorful drawing on the bottom half of the clock front is really unique. I did the best I could to get a good photo, but the actual drawing looks much better. It is inset behind the glass about 1/2 inch and gives an illusion of peeking through a keyhole at a whole different place and time. This clock measures 15 inches tall by 8 inches wide and 4 inches deep.
